What's new
To increase a spawner's player-detection range for a tower-style mob farm, use the vanilla command /data merge block ~ ~ ~ {RequiredPlayerRange:64} while looking at the spawner (increase the number as needed, up to ~128). You can similarly widen the spawn area with {SpawnRange:8}. No code changes needed — this works with any spawner, including your Mini Creeper ones.
