NeroDecor 0.6.0-beta.1 - Fabric 26.2
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Adds a read-only NeroLink companion module, gives NeroDecor its own creative tab and fixes drops on Minecraft 26.3. Existing worlds load unchanged. Now requires Neroland Core 1.15.0 or later (was 1.13.0).
Added
- NeroLink companion module — NeroDecor now registers a read-only module with Neroland Core's
link API, closing the loop on the Core palette/decor contracts it already consumes. Two catalogue
sections, both searchable via
qand capped at 512 rows:palette— Core's shared palette export (finish id, name, sRGB value and#RRGGBBstring, channels, emissive flag and light level, source material tag) plus NeroDecor's own paint vocabulary, the 16 accents andNATURALofDecorColor. Reportsfinishes_registered_by_mod: 0explicitly, since NeroDecor consumes the palette rather than contributing to it.blocks— every registered block in registration order, the Luminous collection included, with its shape (cube/slab/stairs/wall/pane/pillar), collection (decororluminous), paintable and emissive flags and translation key, plus CTM family and connected-texture style for the paintable families.- No actions and no events, deliberately. Everything NeroDecor can change is a block in the world, and nothing about a decor block is worth a push notification. The module registers a snapshot provider only, so companion clients see it as read-only.
- New config key
enableLinkModule(defaulttrue, server-authoritative): off = the module is never registered and a companion client reports NeroDecor as absent. - Documented in the new Link Module wiki page, linked from the wiki index.
- Item highlights: every NeroDecor block is now in Neroland Core's
neroland:highlight/materialsitem tag, so its inventory slot gets Core's materials border like other Nero building materials.
Changed
- NeroDecor now has its own creative tab. Its blocks no longer appear in Core's "Neroland Decor" tab; they are listed in a dedicated NeroDecor tab in the same order.
PRIVACY.mdnow also covers the link module and states plainly that NeroDecor stores no player-attributable game data — a block's paint colour is world state and records nobody — which is why the mod is not registered with Core's data-erasure hook.
Fixed
- Block and loot drops work as intended on Minecraft 26.3 (NeoForge, Fabric and Forge). Minecraft 26.3 changed the loot-table file format and silently ignores the old one, so conditions and drop modifiers (explosion survival, door/slab block-state checks, drop counts, random chances) were skipped. The 26.3 builds now ship every loot table in the new format. 26.1.2 and 26.2 were not affected.
Not included: Core's display surface API is deliberately not wired up yet. A display surface needs somewhere to store what was pushed to it, and NeroDecor still ships no block entities — holograms, signs, panels and racks arrive with those, and the surfaces come with them.
