NeroColonies

Settle the planets you reached — drop a beacon, ship in supplies, and let colonist NPCs grow a self-sustaining off-world settlement that runs while you're away.

What's new

Added

  • Export sales are paid through NeroEconomy's budgeted payouts. With NeroEconomy 0.3.0 or later installed, selling the export buffer is paid from its Reserve under the reason export_sale, counted against the colony exports' own daily budget instead of the small pool shared by mods that have not moved over. A full buffer is paid in several payouts of at most exportPayoutChunk credits (new config key, default 1,000 to match NeroEconomy's siblingMaxSinglePayout; a larger value is halved automatically when refused). Each payout removes only the goods it paid for and the sale stops at the first refusal, so goods never leave the buffer without credits arriving. Each payout's request key is the colony id plus a per-colony payout counter, persisted with the colony's life record, so a retried payout is recognised and never paid twice.
  • Exports are priced from the market. With NeroEconomy installed, an item its Merchant Houses buy is priced at their live bid for one unmodified unit; the export table times exportValueMultiplier stays the price for everything else, and for every item without NeroEconomy. The GUI preview uses the same prices.
  • Optional stage rewards. New config key stageRewardCredits (default 0, off): a one-off credit reward to the owner each time a colony reaches a new stage, paid through NeroEconomy under the reason stage_reward and keyed by colony and stage so a stage is never paid twice. Needs NeroEconomy; a refused reward is reported to the owner and not retried.
  • A refused sale says why. A new sale outcome, Refused, shows NeroEconomy's own explanation (reserve low, today's budget spent, the owner's daily limit reached, economy paused). A partial sale reports what was sold and why the rest stayed in the buffer.

Changed

  • Without NeroEconomy's budgeted API, the deposit's result is checked. Core's CurrencyApi.deposit is now made before the goods leave the buffer, and they leave only when it reports success.
  • NeroEconomy is now compiled against, optionally. NeroColonies compiles against NeroEconomy's public API (compileOnly, never bundled) and touches it from one bridge class, loaded only when NeroEconomy is present. The sibling API version is checked at start-up; with NeroEconomy absent or older than API 1 nothing changes. The optional dependency now names a floor of 0.3.0-beta.1 (NeoForge and Forge versionRange, Fabric breaks); NeroEconomy is still never required.

Privacy

  • No new player data is stored. NeroEconomy receives only the owner's UUID that NeroColonies already holds; request keys carry a colony id and a counter, never a player id or name, and log lines carry counts and result names only. See PRIVACY.md, Payments through NeroEconomy.
