Naruto: Will of Fire 4.1.0
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Clients and servers should both update to 4.1.0 (new blocks). Old worlds upgrade automatically and keep the jutsu and rank they already earned (saves get DataVersion 5).
Progression
- Jutsu are harder to earn: ranking up only brings Academy basics, clan and nature jutsu need trained stats, and universal techniques must be taught. Teachers cost more, need stats and trust, and give one lesson a day; story chapters teach their own techniques.
- Teachers test you in a sparring match before they teach you.
- Chunin needs the Chunin Exams: XP alone stops at Genin until the exams arc is passed (operators'
/naruto rankwaives it).
Story
- Story enemies can't be talked to or recruited during their chapter (recruited ones leave your squad), and after you die they hunt you again and follow you to your respawn.
- Story foes that die near their player always count, whether allies, fire or a fall finished them; allies can bring important foes down to 15% health instead of 30%, but can't land the final blow on story foes, named villains or tailed beasts.
- Burning deaths credit the last attacker.
Interface
- Loadout bar setting (auto, right, left, above, battle_only, hidden) and a
/narutohudclient command. - Leave Village button in the Ninja menu: any player can become a missing-nin.
Mobs
- Kurama, every tailed beast, the Ten-Tails, Gamabunta, Fukasaku and Shima, Katsuyu, Manda and Enma are redesigned in a clean angled style with painted lighting, at their old in-game sizes.
Structures
- Every structure is more detailed: weathered stone and brick, framed windows with shutters and sills, furniture (beds, tables and chairs, shelves, barrels, plants, rugs) and lanterns in every room, ladders up to upper floors, plants and barrels by doors, grass, flowers and creeping vines.
- Fences, glass panes, iron bars and walls now connect to each other, and roof stairs turn their corners.
- Round towers have doors instead of open holes.
- 15 Naruto decoration blocks, used all over the structures and in the creative tab: red and white paper lanterns, stone lanterns, tatami mats, low tables, floor cushions, scroll racks, weapon racks, ramen bowls, wanted posters and Leaf, Sand, Mist, Cloud and Stone village crests.
- No two copies of a structure look the same: each one gets its own worn stones, plants, shutters and barrels.
- New
/naruto export <name> <from> <to>(operators): saves a hand-built region of any size as a structure template.
