A mod that adds hostile creatures that stalk you and make you go insane.

Description

This mod adds four creatures (as of now) that will haunt your world.

Roamers

Appearance

Roamers are known to have a large human-like body type, with a lack of a neck and long, lanky limbs. Roamers also have a dog-like head and wolf-like sounds. They have small glowing eyes that become the only noticeable factor of them from a distance at night. During the day, Roamers’ skin becomes transparent and only their eyes are visible. Roamers are also referred to as werewolves.

Behavior

Roamers are known to gather up in groups during the day, but slowly disperse once they are in groups at night, which means it is riskier to be around Roamers during the day. During the day, Roamers follow the nearest prey to them. They run away if they are in the visible range of someone. Being inside is a terrible choice when Roamers are present. Roamers wait until their target is behind a wall or out of sight from them entirely before they attack. During the night, Roamers become aggressive from time to time, and chase their target, regardless of their surroundings. If there is more than one Roamer, they will run off to let the weakest of the group get a good meal.

Self defense

Roamers live just about everywhere in the world. If you find yourself in a big open field, keep your ground, stay outside, and try to stay high up because Roamers can not climb. Staying inside while there are Roamers around is a bad idea. Roamers will not be able to see you when you are inside, and will rush to where they know you are at. Roamers can open doors with ease, so if you are inside, block off all doors. If you are in a forest, run until you find a safe area or an open field. If it is daytime in any of these situations, more and more Roamers are likely to build up and will attack you when you least expect it. If it is daytime when Roamers are around, stay in the open and make sure you can see the Roamers. If you can’t, it is most likely hunting you down.

Snatchers

Appearance

Snatchers have medium sized bodies with a human-like torso and no arms. Snatchers have three rings pointing outwards made of their flesh. They have blood-red skin and two dark holes for eyes. They also have hair sticking out of their back. Believe it or not, Snatchers are single-celled organisms made of hunter cells.

Behavior

Snatchers avoid people and wait till their target least expect it. If their target is vulnerable, they will wrap their rings around them and will attempt to bring them into their death. They can not kill anything on their own and do not need to eat because they absorb nutrients from whatever is in their rings. Snatchers do not like light, so they will not grab anything if there is light.

Self defense

Remain in light. Snatchers do not like light and won’t grab you if you are in the light. If you are grabbed by a Snatcher, try to harm the Snatcher by punching it or if you have a weapon, use it. If it feels harmed, it will let you go and disappear. Attempt to never give them a chance to grab you and stay within sight of the Snatcher so that it knows you are not vulnerable. There have been products developed recently that have a camera that detects if there is a Snatcher. If it detects one, all the lights in the house turn on without making a sound so that if anyone is sleeping in the house, they don’t wake up.

House Stalkers

Appearance

House Stalkers have spider-like legs and are entirely invisible for most of their life span. House Stalkers have a human-like head with a missing jaw and hollow eyes. Their skin is believed to be wrapped in silk so they are soft to the touch.

Behavior

House Stalkers enter whatever house they can and wait there for as long as they need to. Before entering a house, they prey on animals or livestock in order to sustain themselves while waiting in a building. After they are satisfied with the information they collected from their target, they will wait till night time before attacking their target.

Self defense

Search or clean your house often. If you bump into anything or feel something that is not visible, trap it in an enclosed container and wait a week or so before opening it again. Doing so will have hopefully starved the House Stalker. At nighttime, if you are afraid there may be a House Stalker, close and lock all doors and make sure the room you are in is safe. An easy way to prevent House Stalkers is to make sure all ways into your house are closed and open and close the front door quickly if you are leaving or entering your house. House Stalkers can not open doors, but will wait for an opening into a house.
