What's new

XP Multiplier 2.2.0

Forge support has arrived. XP Multiplier now ships a Forge jar for 1.21.1 alongside the usual NeoForge lineup - same features, same config file, same keys. Pick the jar matching your loader.

New: the XP Bank. Deposit XP into a persistent balance and withdraw it later - a safety net for the XP a risky boss fight or a bad fall used to wipe out for good. Press the hotkey (default B, rebindable like any other key) for a simple deposit/withdraw menu, or skip the menu entirely with /xpmultiplier bank balance|deposit|withdraw <amount> from chat.

[bank]
    enabled = true
    maxBalance = -1                 # -1 = unlimited
    depositFeeMultiplier = 1.0      # below 1.0 taxes deposits, above 1.0 pays interest
    withdrawFeeMultiplier = 1.0

One thing to know: the bank's menu and hotkey need the mod installed client-side too - the one feature here that isn't purely server-side. Everything else keeps working with a vanilla client exactly as before, and /xpmultiplier bank is there specifically for players who'd rather not install anything just for this.

1.21.2 and 1.21.5 NeoForge support dropped. No config or feature changes - both were consistently the two least-downloaded versions here on CurseForge, so future updates go to the remaining six NeoForge versions (1.21.1, 1.21.4, 1.21.9, 1.21.11, 26.1.2, 26.2) instead of eight. If you're on 1.21.2 or 1.21.5, the existing 2.1.4 jar keeps working exactly as before and isn't going anywhere - there just won't be a newer one for those two versions from here on.

1.21.1, 26.1.2 and 26.2 also pick up the newest available NeoForge patch; the other three were already current.
