More GUI Scales — Version 1.0.0

Initial Release

  • Added additional GUI scale options beyond Minecraft 1.6.4’s built-in Large setting.
  • Supports larger integer scale values suitable for modern high-resolution displays, including 1440p and 4K.
  • Automatically determines the maximum usable GUI scale from the current game resolution.
  • Added rebindable controls:
    • F9 — Increase GUI scale
    • F10 — Decrease GUI scale
  • Added the /guiscale client command with support for:
    • /guiscale <number>
    • /guiscale auto
    • /guiscale +
    • /guiscale -
    • /guiscale status
  • GUI scale changes are saved through Minecraft’s normal settings system.
  • Fully client-side; the mod does not need to be installed on the server.
  • Designed for Minecraft 1.6.4 Forge and legacy modpacks such as Tekkit.

Known Limitation

Minecraft’s original Video Settings screen only recognises its standard scale labels. Custom scale values may therefore display as Auto, and pressing the original GUI Scale button will return the setting to the normal vanilla cycle. Use the configured increase/decrease keys or /guiscale command to select the extended values.
