21.0.8-beta

  • Added Rapeseed Fields, a new biome that grown with rapeseed flowers and tall rapeseed flowers.
    • Rapeseed flowers and taller version can be crafted into yellow dye.
  • Added 7 new map colors.
  • Added a small useful feature: while the debug screen (F3) is on, you can press up or down to scroll down or up the debug information. You can change the keybinding in settings.
  • Introduced thermal system for blocks. Now each block has a temperature level (Range: 0-15) and it decreases while spreading through blocks. The conduction of heat is affected by the block's thermal resistance property.
    • Now ice and snow no longer melt depending on light level. Instead, they melt when the temperature is high enough (>5).
    • Blocks with high temperature (>12) will act like magma block and hurt entities that step on.
  • Now More Colorful supports configuration. You can partially customize the mod according to your preference. You can change:
    • The weight of More Colorful biome generation (You can set it to 0 to completely prevent them from generating);
    • The disabled biomes that you don't want them to generate;
    • Allow More Colorful to add new features to vanilla biomes;
    • Allow More Colorful to add new loot to vanilla lootables;
    • Enable or disable the thermal system;
    • Define temperature and thermal resistance values for blocks;
  • From now on, Terrablender is no longer a required dependecy. It's an optional now. However, the world cannot generate modded biomes until you install Terrablender.
  • Have a good time!
