What's new

Configuration Persistence Fix

  • Fixed chickens.cfg settings reverting to defaults after restarting Minecraft or the server.
  • Fixed custom chicken definitions from chickens_custom.json being ignored or losing their configured values after a reboot.
  • Existing configuration files are now authoritative and will not be overwritten during startup.
  • Config templates are only created when the files do not already exist.
  • Existing players and server owners can update normally without deleting their config files.

If a setting was already lost by an earlier version, reapply it once after updating.
