Description
MOB MONDAYS
This mod has a similar goal to mods like Alex's Mods, Naturalist, or Mo Creatures. In where I plan on adding all kinds of new mobs to enhance Minecraft with new world-building, features, and of course drops.
The goal is that this mod will be like a series where on Mondays or every couple of Mondays because I doubt I'll actually be able to update every Monday. I will add a new mob or mobs. As well as new items and features related to those mobs. Mobs will range from real-life-inspired animals, to fantasy, or even more goofier ideas.
In the first update, I just focused on adding new cow variants like the Moobloom from 2020's mob vote, to a Chocolate Milk Cow, to even a "Holy Cow".
All New Mobs (So Far):
Moobloom
- Yellow Flower Moobloom from 2020 Mob Vote. Similar to Cow, but you can use a bottle to "milk" it for honey. Spawns in Flower Forests.
Blue Orchid Moobloom
- Similar to the Moobloom, but spawns in swamp biomes
Lily of the Valley Moobloom
- Similar to the Moobloom, but poisons you if you come to close.
- Heisenberg Moobloom
- (Breaking Bad Easter egg for the Lily of the Valley Moobloom)
Wither Rose Moobloom
- Moobloom that spawns in Soul Sand Valleys. Withers you if you get too close.
Chocolate Cow
- Cow that gives you Chocolate Milk.
Strawberry Cow
- Cow that gives you Strawberry Milk.
Soy Cow
- Cow that gives you Soy Milk.
Wooly Cow
- Cow Variant that spawns in Snowy & Taiga Biomes
Albino Cow
- Cow that's Albino
Holy Cow
- Majestic Cow that can be grant you bottles of xp, apples to golden apples, and more.
Turkey
- Similar to Chicken.
Punching Bag
- Can be spawned in with two hay bales and pumpkin on top. Its only purpose is for the player to test out weapons and combat abilities on this completely harmless innocent being. Or just punch to let off some steam.
Pinata
- Same as Punching Bag, but can be spawned in with Glazed Light Blue Terracota, Glazed Red Terracota, and then a pumpkin on top. It also will drop many sweet food items like cookies, pie, cake, and a new food item: candy. Candy is a very low food source that has the chance to give you a sugar rush.
Testificate Man
- Rare Villager-like mob that fights hostile mobs. It can teleport or turn invisible when hurt.
Chillager
- Essentially similar to what the Iceologer would've been
Griefer
- Illager that throws bombs.
Gambler
- Illager that has a 50/50 chance to either grant positive effects or negative effects when they hit a player.
Duck
- Rubber Duck (rare version of Duck). Drops rubber.
Rat
- Runs away from cats.
Moolip
- Moobloom for Cherry Grove biomes
Capybara
- Spawns in Jungles or Swamps. Players can ride them. They have decent speed on both land and water.
- They do not drop anything when killed. If you do, you get a bad luck effect like with the holy cow.
