Mob Attractor lets you pick and store a vanilla mob type and then lure that mob toward you; right-click the Mob Attractor to open a scrollable selector and click an entry (or left-click a compatible mob while holding the item) to set the stored target.

Mob Attractor lets you pick and store a vanilla mob type and then lure that mob toward you; right-click the Mob Attractor to open a scrollable selector and click an entry (or left-click a compatible mob while holding the item) to set the stored target. With the selection set and the Mob Attractor in hand, mobs of that type will pathfind toward you, and the current selection is shown on-screen and in the item tooltip.
