Changelog

Features

  • Added Palm Trees! New tree type that generates in Deserts, Beaches, and Oceans.
  • Palm trees are slightly taller than most normal trees, and generate with a large, flat leaf layer composed of Palm Fronds and Dead Palm Fronds.
  • Each Palm Tree generates with a Palm Crown at the top, which handles leaf decay as well as Coconut generation.
  • The frequency of Palm Tree generation varies by biome -- Beaches and Oceans generate them more frequently than Deserts. Palm Trees in Deserts also generate with a higher Dead Palm Frond > Live Palm Frond ratio in their leaf layers.
  • Added Palm Fronds! New type of Leaves that generate on Palm Trees. Unlike normal Leaves, they have a custom model, and can be placed facing 8 different directions. Drops Dead Palm Fronds when broken, unless harvested with Shears or Silk Touch.
  • Added Dead Palm Fronds! Variant of Palm Fronds that is entirely tan instead of biome-foliage colored. Behaves identically to Palm Fronds otherwise.
  • Added Palm Crowns! Special type of Palm Log that generates at the top of Palm Trees:
  • Only one Palm Crown generates per tree. Generated Palm Crowns are considered "Live," while player-placed Palm Crowns are considered "Dead". Both look identical, however.
  • Breaking a Live Palm Crown instantly breaks all adjacent Palm Fronds within a 7x7 block area surrounding the Crown. Palm Crowns normally drop 1 Palm Log and several Dead Palm Fronds -- however, the Crown itself can be harvested using Silk Touch. Silk-harvested Palm Crowns are still treated as Dead when placed by a player, however.
  • Live Palm Crowns will slowly generate up to 4 Coconuts diagonally adjacent to them, provided that A, there are no Coconuts already on the ground below the chosen position, and B, there is a Live Palm Frond directly above the chosen position.
  • Applying Bonemeal to a Live Palm Crown will accelerate the Coconut process.
  • Added Coconuts! Large fruit-block generated over time by Palm Trees.
  • Coconuts will grow from Palm Crowns over time. They start very small, and slowly grow to their full size over the course of several minutes, similar to Cocoa Pods. Coconut growth can be sped up using Bonemeal.
  • Once fully grown, Coconuts will eventually become gravity-affected and fall off the tree, landing on the ground below.
  • When harvested without Silk Touch, Coconuts will drop 1-4 Coconut Slices. This number can be increased using Fortune.
  • Burying a Coconut Block under one layer of any type of Sand will cause it to grow into a Palm Tree over time. Once grown, the Coconut will convert into the same type of Sand block it was buried under.
  • Added Coconut Slices! Obtained by breaking or milling a Coconut. Can be eaten to restore a small amount of hunger, dropping a Coconut Shell in the process, or simply smelted into Charcoal. Can also be used as an alternative source of Milk Buckets.
  • Added Coconut Shells. Obtained by eating or draining Coconut Slices. Can be crafted into Bowls or Primitive Armor, smelted into Charcoal, or pressurized into Cork Blocks.
  • Added Palm Logs! New type of Log generated by Palm Trees.
  • Added Palm Planks! New type of Planks crafted from Palm Logs. Can be made into all the same decorative variants as other types of wood.
  • Added Primitive Armor! New early-game armor set crafted from Grass Fibers and Coconut Shells. Not very good armor, but it is very cheap.
  • Added the Sawmill! Crafted with Logs, Deep Cobblestone of any type, an Observer, a Tech Doodad, and 4 Torite. New machine block that allows you to produce Wood Planks much more efficiently, as well as create Slabs and Panels without even opening a Crafting Table.
  • Sawmills don't require fuel, but do require Redstone power and a Blade. They can face in any direction, and the direction they're placed in affect their recipes.
  • Saw Blades are crafted with 1 Plating and 8 Nuggets, and come in Copper, Iron, Bronze, Steel, and Archantine. Better Blades have more durability, with Archantine Blades being completely unbreakable. Milling stone blocks (such as Bricks, Sandstone, Red Rock, etcetera) requires a Steel or Archantine Blade.
  • Milling recipes include:
  • Logs can be milled into 6 Planks, with a chance of dropping Tree Bark.
  • Planks can be milled into 6 Slabs or Panels, depending on which direction the Sawmill is facing, with a chance of dropping Sawdust.
  • Any block with Slab/Panel variants can be milled into their respective Slabs or Panels, depending on which direction the Sawmill is facing.
  • Palm Crowns can be milled into 6 Palm Planks and 4 Dead Palm Fronds.
  • Snow Blocks can be milled into 7 Snow Layers with a chance of dropping a Snowball.
  • Ice can be milled into 8 Ice Baubles with a chance of dropping a Snowball.
  • Packed Ice can be milled into 4 Ice with a chance of dropping a Snowball.
  • Glacieric Ice can be milled into 4 Packed Ice with a chance of dropping a Glacieric Ice Shard.
  • Coconuts can be milled into slices.
  • Sliceable blocks, such as Pizzas, Cheese Blocks, and Cake, can be milled into slices, provided the Sawmill is facing up.
  • Mushroom/Glowshroom Blocks can be milled into 1 Mushroom/Glowshroom of their respective type, with a chance of dropping a second.
  • Leaves can be milled into Sticks with a chance of dropping Saplings.
  • Mite Hives and Combs can be milled into Mite Honey.
  • Hardened Clay can be milled into Clay Bricks.
  • Dried Mud can be milled into Mud Bricks.
  • Wool can be milled into 4 Carpet of its respective color.
  • Carpet can be milled into 1 String.
  • Carved Pumpkins can be milled to continue carving them further.
  • Added Tree Bark. Obtained as a bonus drop when milling Logs. Can be pressurized into Cork Blocks, used as fuel, or used as a Fine Tannin ingredient.
  • Added the Pressurizer! Crafted with Meurodite Plating, Reefstone, and Bronze. New machine block that behaves sort of like an Alloy Furnace, but with four slots instead of two. Can be used to pressurize several items into a new material.
  • Fuel goes in the bottom slot, ingredients go in the four outer slots, and the result appears in the center.
  • When automating the Pressurizer, Pipes facing into its sides will place items in one of its four slots, and Pipes facing into the top will attempt to place items into the fuel slot. Hoppers below remove items from the output slot.
  • Notable Pressurizer recipes include...
  • Most materials that could be combined into a block via crafting (Mud Balls, Clay Balls, Stone Chunks, Quartz, etc.) can be Pressurized to the same result.
  • 9 Soil blocks and a Water Bucket can be pressurized into 9 Mud Blocks.
  • 2 Mud Balls combined with various other materials can be pressurized into Dirt, Coarse Dirt, Podzol, Clay Soil, Course Clay Soil, Clay Podzol, Permafrost, Coarse Permafrost, or Frozen Podzol.
  • 2 Chunks of any type and 2 Flint can be pressurized into a block of Gravel.
  • Sand, Clay, and an Iron Nugget can be pressurized into Red Sand.
  • 4 Sand of any type can be pressurized into their respective Sandstone variant.
  • Sand, Desert Quartz, and Mud Balls can be pressurized into Clay Blocks.
  • 4 Gravel can be pressurized into 4 blocks of Stone.
  • 4 Non-Deep Cobblestone of any one type can be pressurized into 1 Deep Stone of their respective variant.
  • Cobblestone can be pressurized with various other items to create Red Rock, Coldstone, Icestone, or Oceanstone, finally providing a renewable source of every biome-specific Stone type.
  • Cobblestone can be pressurized with various soils and gemstones to produce Granite, Andesite, Diorite, or Slate.
  • Icestone Chunks, Irradiant Quartz, Rock Crystals, and Salt can be pressurized into Prismarine Shards.
  • Prismarine Shards, Sunstone Shards, and Rock Crystals can be pressurized into Prismarine Crystals.
  • 9 Redstone Dust can be pressurized with various blocks and items to create Blocks of the other four biome Redstone variants.
  • Likewise, 3 Biome Redstone Dust can be pressurized with 6 normal Redstone Dust to convert it back into a normal Block of Redstone.
  • 2 Netherrack Chunks and 2 Magma Cream can be pressurized into 2 Magma Blocks.
  • 16 Magma can be pressurized into 1 Obsidian.
  • 64 Deep Red Rock, 64 Deep Coldstone, 64 Glacierrock, and 64 Reefstone can be pressurized together to form 1 Bedrock. While not the most efficient way to obtain Bedrock, this does mean Bedrock is renewable now as well.
  • 4 full stacks of Bedrock can be pressurized together to form 1 Invincium. Place that block with care, the only way to remove it is with a Dimensium Spike.
  • 1 Invincium can be pressurized with 48 Glacieric Ice Blocks to form 1 Glacial Invincium. This is truly the ultimate automation McGuffin.
  • 4 Snow can be pressurized into 1 Ice.
  • 4 Ice can be pressurized into 1 Packed Ice.
  • 3 Packed Ice and 1 Glacieric Ice Shard can be pressurized into 1 Glacieric Ice Block.
  • 4 Mushrooms/Glowshrooms of any type can be pressurized into one Mushroom/Glowshroom Block of their respective type.
  • 9 Nuggets of any type can be pressurized into an Ingot of their respective type, and 9 Ingots/Gems of any type can be pressurized into a Block. Kind of a waste of fuel since you can still craft them, but it is somewhat useful for niche automation usecases.
  • 4 Wet Sponges/Molten Lava Sponges can be pressurized into 4 Dry Sponges/Lava Sponges.
  • 2 Sawdust and 2 Tree Bark/Coconut Shells/Charroot can be pressurized into a Cork Block.
  • Every type of dye-combining recipe can be automated using the Pressurizer.
  • 4 Moss can be pressurized into 1 Charcoal.
  • 4 Charcoal can be pressurized into 2 Coal (should make Steel production a bit more reasonable to automate).
  • 16 Coal Blocks can be pressurized into 1 Diamond.
  • Coal, Blaze Powder, Gunpowder, and Salt can be pressurized into 4 Fire Charges.
  • 3 Desert Quartz and 1 Irradium can be pressurized into 1 Irradiant Quartz.
  • 3 Blaze Powder and 1 Sunstone Shard can be pressurized into 1 Blaze Shard.
  • 3 Blaze Powder and 1 Bone can be pressurized into 1 Blaze Rod.
  • 4 Sand, 4 Gravel, and any Dye can be pressurized into 8 Concrete Powder.
  • Added Cold Sandstone! Pressurized with 4 Cold Sand. Comes in all the variants normal Sandstone has.
  • Added Cold Red Sandstone! Pressurized with 4 Cold Red Sand. Comes in all the variants Red Sandstone has.
  • Added Sandstone Bricks! Crafted with 4 Polished Sandstone. Comes in normal, Red, Cold, and Cold Red variants. Also has corresponding Slabs, Stairs, and Panels.
  • Added Cork Blocks! Pressurized with 2 Sawdust, and 2 Tree Bark, Coconut Shells, or Charroots. Wood-like building block primarily used for Cheesemaking.
  • Added Cheesemaker's Basket! Crafted with 1 Tallow and 1 Basket -- or created by simply right-clicking a placed Basket with Tallow. Can be used to create Cheese using the following steps:
  • Fill the Cheesemaker's Basket with Milk.
  • Right-click the Milk-filled Basket with a Bottle of Tanning Solution. Potion particles should begin to appear.
  • Right-click the Basket with a Cork Block to seal it. Leave the Basket sealed until it stops making noises and producing particles.
  • Right-click the sealed Basket again to unseal it.
  • Right-click the Basket with Fat, then again with Salt. Then re-seal it with the Cork block.
  • Once the Basket stops burbling and producing particles again, jump on top of it repeatedly to drain the liquid. You can also use any mob or entity (such as an armor stand) falling on it to complete this step.
  • Once fully drained, right-click to unseal it, then right-click again to grab the finished Block of Cheese! You will need to re-apply the Tallow to begin another batch.
  • Added Blocks of Cheese! Created in a Cheesemaker's Basket using the steps listed above. Consists of 14 Slices of Cheese which can be eaten directly by right-clicking the block, or sliced off into items.
  • Added Cheese Slices. Obtained by slicing Cheese. Can be eaten raw, but are more useful for creating more complex foods.
  • Added Grilled Cheese! New sandwich alloyed with 2 Buns and 2 Slices of Cheese.
  • Added Tortilla Chips! Alloyed with Corn Meal and Grease. Can be eaten raw, but are more useful when alloyed into Nachos or crafted together with Salsa.

  • Added Tortillas! Alloyed with Corn Meal and Iron Bars (the Iron Bars are not consumed). Can be eaten raw, but are more useful for crafting more complicated food items.
  • Added Chips & Salsa! Crafted with -- what a shocker -- Tortilla Chips and Salsa.
  • Added Loaded Nachos! Crafted with Salsa and Nachos.
  • Added Quesadillas! Alloyed with two Tortillas and three Cheese. Cannot be eaten directly, but instead must be placed on the ground like Cake. Consists of 4 Quesadilla Slices, which can be eaten directly by right-clicking the block, or sliced off into items.
  • Added Uncooked Pizza. Crafted with Dough, Tomato Sauce, Slices of Cheese, a Brown Mushroom, an Onion, and a Porkchop. Can be smelted into a Pizza. Can also be eaten raw, but doesn't restore much food and may cause Hunger.
  • Added Pizzas! Smelted from an Uncooked Pizza. Cannot be eaten directly, but instead must be placed on the ground like Cake. Consists of 4 Pizza Slices, which can be eaten directly by right-clicking the block, or sliced off into items.
  • Daggers can now be used to slice any "sliceable" food block into Slice items that can be eaten to restore the same amount of food as if they had been right-clicked. This behavior currently applies to Blocks of Cheese, Quesadillas, Pizzas, and Cakes.
  • Added Cake Slices. Obtained by slicing Cake blocks. Restores the same amount of hunger as right-clicking a Cake.
  • Added Roasted Peanuts. Alloyed with Peanuts and Salt. Basically just a Baked Potato, but Peanuts.
  • Added Fish Sandwiches, Cheeseburgers, and Mushroom Burgers. Basically just more extremely effective food items.
  • Added Mutton, Rabbit, and Tropical Fish Tacos! Crafted with a Tortilla, vegetables, and their respective meat item. Restore quite a bit of hunger, and Tropical Fish Tacos also grant you Speed I for 1:00.
  • Added Beef, Chicken, and Squid Burritos! Crafted with Tortilla, vegetables, and their respective meat item. Restore a ton of hunger, and Squid Burritos also have a chance to give you Speed I for 0:30.
  • Added Breakfast Burritos! Crafted with Fried Eggs, Tortilla, Onions, Mushrooms, Bacon, Potatoes, and Hot Sauce. Restores your entire hunger bar and grants Speed for 1:00.
  • Added Mushroom Stroganoff! New pasta alloyed with Mushroom Stew and Dry Spaghetti.
  • Added Glowshroom Glowganoff! New pasta alloyed with Glowshroom Stew and Dry Spaghetti. Gives the same mining speed boost/nausea effects as Glowshroom Stew, but restores much more hunger.
  • Added a new status effect: Well Fed! Gives the player a passive boost to their movement speed, attack swing speed, and knockback resistance. Each additional level increases these boosts further, and they also stack with similar status effects like Speed and Haste.
  • The Well Fed effect can only be obtained by eating "fancy" foods -- typically consisting of food items that require many ingredients or crafting steps to prepare. Food items that grant the Well Fed effect include:

  • Added Adamantium Tools and Weapons! These items are completely unbreakable, have ridiculously fast mining speeds, and hit like a truck. Primarily intended for use in maps (ie, Skyblock) or custom modpacks, but there may or may not be a way to obtain them in survival...
  • Added some mystery features! OooOoOoOooooOOoOooo......

Changes

  • Changed how Alloy Furnaces interact with Pipes and Hoppers:
  • Pipes facing into the left and right sides of the Alloy Furnace will now place items only in the left or right input slot.
