Rates are as follows per level (They stack per level, so add loot tables as you go up):
Miner's Luck I: Redstone 1%, Lapis Lazuli 1%, Raw Iron 1%, Coal 1%, Raw Copper 1%
Miner's Luck II: Raw Gold 1%, Coal 1%
Miner's Luck III: Diamond 1%, Redstone 1%, Lapis Lazuli 1%, Raw Iron 1%, Raw Copper 1%
Miner's Luck IV: Emerald 1%, Raw Gold 1%
Miner's Luck V: Iron Ingot 1%, Gold Ingot 1%, Copper Ingot 1%,Coal 1%, Redstone 1%, Lapis Lazuli 1%, Raw Iron 1%, Raw Copper 1%
By this logic, at Miner's Luck V, You have a 3% chance to get 1 coal, a .01% chance to get 2 coal, and a .0001% chance to get 3 coal. You can, however, get drops from each level, so it can double up and drop things from each level. One block can drop multiple minerals, based on their chances above. Welcome to the Miner's Luck mod, a small mod that simply adds one enchantment to the game: Miner's Luck. Miner's luck comes with 5 different levels and can be applied to a pickaxe only,
by finding them in dungeon/loot chests or by villager trade. It can not be obtained from the enchanting table.
What this Enchantment does is it will roll a random chance every time you break a block of Stone, Deepslate, or Netherrack to drop a random mineral! The chance is of course not large at all,
but it will add a bit of spice to your mining adventures, especially if you're like me who enjoys strip mining.
Stone and Deepslate will both potentially drop overworld minerals (Raw Iron or Iron Ingots, Raw Gold or Gold Ingots, Lapis, Redstone, Diamonds, Emeralds, and Coal. Amethyst is excluded as it is special)
Netherrack will potentially drop Quartz of Golden Nuggets. (And netherite scrap, only Miner's Luck V as of 1.1)
The higher the level of the enchantment the more likely you will get a random mineral from the block. Loot tables are now in place and stack per level for increased odds of drops.
