GamemodeDetector-1.6
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Gamemode Detector 1.7 - Persistent Logging, Join/Leave Tracking & History Improvements
New: persistent log file
- Every observed gamemode switch, first sighting, join, and leave is now written to
config/gamemodedetector/gamemode-log.txt- a permanent, unbounded record that survives restarts (unlike the in-chat history, which is capped and in-memory only). - Each log line records: date & time, whether you were in Singleplayer or Multiplayer (and if Multiplayer, the server's name/address), the player's name, and what changed.
- Toggle with the new "Log to File" config option if you don't want this.
New: join & leave tracking
- The log now notes when a tracked player joined the server during your session, and includes that join time on every subsequent switch line for that player.
- Players present when you connect are marked as "already online" rather than given a fake join time, since the game doesn't tell clients when someone already on the server actually joined.
- Leaving the server is now detected too - logged with their last known gamemode, how long they were in it, and their tracked join time. A later rejoin during the same session is correctly treated as a fresh join again.
Changed
- Default in-chat history size (/gamemodelog) increased from 10 to 50 remembered switches per player.
