Changelog v2.1 - Forge 1.20.1

Multi-Mob Raids Update

Important: This file is for Minecraft 1.20.1 + Forge only. It is not compatible with the NeoForge 1.21.1 build.

Install mc-custom-raids-v2.1-forge-1.20.1.jar and remove any older jar of this mod from your mods/ folder.

Raids are no longer limited to a single mob type. Build mixed squads — cultists with a cyclops, dragons with support mobs — and let each line roll its own spawn count every time the raid fires.

Breaking change — mod ID

Mod ID renamed: customraidsintegration → mccustomraids

  • New config files: mccustomraids-common.toml, mccustomraids-raids.json
  • Legacy customraidsintegration-* (and dragonsraidsintegration-*) configs are copied automatically on first launch if the new files are missing
  • Pack makers: update dependencies from customraidsintegration to mccustomraids

What's new

  • Mixed mob squads — stack multiple entity types in one raid template
  • Independent rolls per entry — each mob line rolls separately
  • Redesigned raid editor (H key) — scrollable mob list, Add Mob / Remove per line, min/max per entry, live composition preview
  • New commands — raidtype addentry, removeentry, setentry
  • Smarter chat alerts — {entity} shows who actually spawned; {count} is the real total

Compatibility

  • Old JSON with entityId / minSpawnCount / maxSpawnCount auto-migrates to spawnEntries on load
  • force without a count uses the same per-entry random logic as natural raids
  • Legacy setentity / setcount still work on the first entry (deprecated)

Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.20.1
  • Forge 47.4.10+
  • MineColonies 1.20.1-1.1+
