Fighting Styles Ability List
Dial
Abilities
Flame Wave
- Channels a flame vortex for up to 7 seconds.
- Hits enemies in a cone in front of the player.
- Deals 12 damage per hit cycle.
- Burns targets for 3 seconds.
- Cooldown: 200 ticks.
Eisen Shield
- Creates a shield that blocks incoming damage.
- Lasts up to 10 seconds.
- Blocks 5 hits before breaking.
- Applies a silver iron-cloud overlay while active.
- Cooldown: 160 ticks.
Breath Burst
- Launches the player in the direction they are looking.
- Knocks back enemies in a 4 block radius.
- Gives temporary no-fall-damage protection for 5 seconds.
- Works as both mobility and a knockback escape tool.
- Cooldown: 80 ticks.
Impact Fist
- Toggle ability with a max active time of 15 seconds.
- Empowers melee hits while active.
- Consumes an Impact Dial only when a hit lands.
- Ground hit effects:
- Deals 12 bonus damage.
- Adds forward knockback.
- Air hit effects:
- Deals 18 bonus damage to the main target.
- Creates an area slam around the landing point.
- Nearby enemies take reduced splash damage and are launched away.
- Deals recoil damage to the user on hit.
- Cooldown when the toggle ends: 60 ticks.
Flash Dial Blast
- Releases a flash in a 12 block radius around the user.
- Applies Blindness to nearby enemies for 15 seconds.
- Also spawns flash particles on affected targets.
- Cooldown: 2000 ticks.
Axe Slash
- Fires a ranged Axe Dial projectile.
- Deals 50 damage.
- Has 50% armor piercing.
- Cooldown: 100 ticks.
Milky Road
- Normal cast creates a Milky Road cloud path projectile.
- Sneak cast activates a surf mode instead.
- Surf mode carries the player forward on a cloud wave for up to 300 ticks.
- Surf mode keeps spawning cloud pieces underneath the player.
- Cooldown: 160 ticks.
Flame Manipulation
- Golden Flame Dial ability.
- Fruitless only.
- Has three modes.
Flame Manipulation Modes
Combustion
- Fires a flame projectile to the aimed impact point.
- Explodes in a 4.5 block radius.
- Deals 50 damage.
- Has 80% piercing.
- Sets targets on fire before damage is applied.
- Cooldown: 100 ticks.
Beam
- Fires a continuous flame beam for 60 ticks.
- Deals 10 damage per hit cycle.
- Has 100% piercing.
- Sets targets on fire.
- Cooldown after beam ends: 150 ticks.
Snap
- Precision line-of-sight strike.
- Deals 25 damage.
- Has 80% piercing.
- Uses 8 stacks instead of a normal cooldown pattern.
Passives And Effects
Dial Conservation
- Gives a chance to not consume a dial when using Dial abilities.
- Can show an upgraded conservation rate.
Dial Damage Bonus
- Passive damage increase for Dial abilities.
Eight-Arm Style
Abilities
Octo-Pistol
- Fires one extending phantom arm at the closest target in line.
- Deals 13 damage.
- Range: 13 blocks.
- Adds knockback on hit.
- Can scale damage if the user is holding a sword.
- Cooldown: 34 ticks.
Octo-Gatling
- Continuous barrage for 70 ticks.
- Punches every 2 ticks.
- Deals 2.4 damage per hit.
- Range: 5 blocks in front.
- Hits multiple targets in the lane.
- Can add partial sword damage if a sword is equipped.
- Cooldown: 105 ticks.
Octo-Whip
- Wide sweeping arc attack.
- Deals 9 damage.
- Range: 9 blocks.
- Arc width: 140 degrees.
- Knocks targets back strongly.
- Can add sword damage if a sword is equipped.
- Cooldown: 70 ticks.
Octo-Grab
- Fires a phantom arm to grab a target in line.
- Range: 16 blocks.
- Holds for 44 ticks.
- Applies movement block while the target is grabbed.
- Pulls the target toward the user.
- If close enough, holds the target directly in front of the user.
- Deals 1.5 damage per tick cycle while crushing the target.
- Ends with an extra burst hit and pop-up if the target is still close.
- Cooldown: 300 ticks.
Octo-Shield
- Fruitless only.
- Defensive stance for up to 180 ticks.
- Applies the Guarding effect repeatedly while active.
- Prevents normal movement while guarding.
- Blocks projectiles and reduces incoming damage through the guard effect.
- Uses the crossed-arms defensive animation.
- Cooldown scales with use time: used time + 50 ticks.
Ink Cloud
- Creates a squid-ink cloud around the user.
- Cloud radius: 6.5 blocks.
- Cloud lasts 160 ticks and shrinks over time.
- Enemies inside are afflicted with Blindness and Slowness.
- The user gains Invisibility, Speed II, and brief Damage Resistance.
- Launches the user backward as an escape move.
- Cooldown: 150 ticks.
Kraken Rage
- Two-mode ultimate.
Kraken Rage Modes
Kraken Rage Mode - Fruitless only.
- Summons 8 giant flailing tentacles.
- Duration: 150 ticks.
- Range: 15 blocks.
- Deals 12 damage per hit cycle.
- Repeats attacks every 8 ticks.
- Cooldown: 260 ticks.
Kraken's Fist Mode - Fruitless only.
- Fires one colossal tentacle punch in a straight line.
- Deals 90 damage.
- Range: 20 blocks.
- Has 60% piercing.
- Cooldown: 1200 ticks.
Passives And Effects
- Octo-Arms
- Required passive for the style.
- Adds bonus unarmed punch damage.
- Adds 2.25 extra attack range.
- Adds 50% mining speed multiplier.
- Punch damage bonus scales with Doriki.
- Also allows sword use with the style.
Shipwright
Building And Utility Abilities
Wall
- Builds an 8x8 wall in front of the player.
- Uses the block in the offhand.
- Requires 26 offhand blocks.
- Cooldown: 176 ticks.
Stairs
- Builds an 8 step staircase in front of the player.
- Uses the block in the offhand.
- Requires 26 offhand blocks.
- Cooldown: 176 ticks.
Floor
- Builds an 8x8 floor under the player.
- Uses the block in the offhand.
- Requires 26 offhand blocks.
- Cooldown: 176 ticks.
Building Save
- Saves a structure between 2 linked Shipwright Markers.
- Must be used while looking at one of the markers.
- Refuses saves larger than 32x32x32.
- Stores the template, block data, and material requirements.
- Removes the markers after saving.
- Cooldown is shown as 440 ticks.
Building Repair
- Rebuilds a saved structure if the user has the required materials.
- Modes:
- Origin: rebuilds at the original saved position.
- Selection: rebuilds from two selected corners.
- Place Anywhere: places the saved build where the player is aiming.
- Also supports corner selection while sneaking.
- Cooldown: 440 ticks.
Full Box
- Traps the first target in line inside a block cage.
- Requires 26 offhand blocks.
- Range: 6 blocks.
- Uses the offhand block as the cage material.
- Cooldown: 660 ticks.
Ship Upgrade
- Upgrades a nearby boat.
- Costs 32 planks + 16 logs per level.
- Boat must not already be max level.
- Broken upgraded boats drop shareable upgraded-boat items.
- Cooldown: 440 ticks.
Ship Upgrade Levels
- Level 1: +10% speed
- Level 2: +30% speed
- Level 3: +40% speed
- Level 4: +70% speed
- Level 5: +120% speed
Combat Abilities
Block Barrage
- Base mode throws block projectiles from the offhand.
- Deals 7.5 damage.
- Has 75% piercing.
- Range: 12 blocks.
- Uses 1 offhand block per shot.
Block Arm Cannon
- Alt mode of Block Barrage.
- Consumes 64 offhand blocks.
- Deals 43.2 to 64.8 damage.
- Has 100% piercing.
- Range: 12 blocks.
- Uses a much larger projectile and impact.
- Cooldown: 1760 ticks.
Axe Swing
- Requires an axe.
- Spins for 60 ticks.
- Repeatedly spawns slash barrages around the user.
- Deals 10.8 damage per slash.
- Covers around 10 blocks.
- Cooldown: 660 ticks.
Axe Eater
- Requires an axe.
- Deals 36 damage.
- Range: 15 blocks.
- Cooldown: 1100 ticks.
- Has two modes.
Line Slash
- Alt mode of Axe Eater.
- Fires one giant vertical slash forward.
Foot Cleave
- Alt mode of Axe Eater.
- Fires 3 horizontal cone slashes at different angles.
Slash Rampage
- Fruitless only.
- Requires an axe.
- Dash attack for 60 ticks.
- Deals 43.2 damage on contact.
- Range: 2.5 blocks.
- Forces the user forward at high speed during the rush.
- Cooldown: 660 ticks.
Passives
Badger
- Requires Shipwright style.
- Only active while holding an axe.
- Axes deal 25% more damage.
- Axes swing 50% faster.
Yield
- Requires Shipwright style.
- Weapon damage reduces cooldowns on equipped Shipwright abilities that are already cooling down.
- Listed effect: 0.5 seconds off per 1 point of damage.
- Actual event behavior only affects Shipwright abilities and cannot reduce cooldowns below zero.
