Update Notes (Changelog) - MI More Drill & Integrations
This update brings a major expansion to advanced mining mechanics, introducing the Desh material from the Stellaris mod into the Modern Industrialization ecosystem, along with several crucial fixes for mod stability.
News and Additions
* New Desh Parts Line: Added full support for Desh parts in the mi_moredrill mod. New crafting recipes (Crafting Table) have been implemented for:
* Desh Gear (desh_gear)
* Desh Drill Head (desh_drill_head)
* Desh Drill (desh_drill) - featuring a unique and balanced assembly pattern using motors, pipes, and circuits.
* New Quarry Recipe (MI): The Desh Drill (desh_drill) can now be used in the Quarry to mine lunar resources from the Stellaris mod, including:
* Moon Desh Ore
* Moon Sand
* Moon Stone and Moon Stone Dust
* Oil Extraction: Added a new recipe for the Oil Drilling Rig. It is now possible to use the Steel Drill (steel_drill) to extract Stellaris Oil fluid (stellaris:oil).
Integrations and Compatibility (NeoForge)
* Dynamic Drop System (AE2): The Quarry recipe code was restructured using native NeoForge conditions. Now, the Quarry with the Desh Drill automatically detects if the Applied Energistics 2 (AE2) mod is installed.
* If AE2 is present: Sky Stone and Certus Quartz Crystal are added to the mining list.
* If AE2 is not present: The recipe loads perfectly with only Stellaris items, without generating console errors.
* Load Dependency: Recipes involving Stellaris resources now have internal validation and will only load in the game if the corresponding mod is active, keeping the log clean.
Bug Fixes
* Registry Crash Fix (Java): Resolved a critical error in the main mod class where desh_ring was accidentally registered with the internal ID of desh_bolt, which prevented the game from loading.
* Invisible Textures Fix: Fixed JSON model mapping. Textures for Desh parts (bolts, plates, gears, rods, etc.) now correctly point to the new visual organization subfolder (textures/item/desh/), resolving the issue of untextured items (purple and black squares) in the inventory.
