About:
The focus of Messenger Crows is to revolutionise player on player trade using a vanilla friendly styled mob called the crow, which will allow players to transport both messages and items to one another remotely from any distance away. This mod aims to encourage players to create fully functional economies within servers or just simply groups of friends alongside creating a cute mob for players to keep around their homes.
Features:
The crow!
The star of this mod, the crow, allows you to send scrolls to other players by interacting with its gui. It is linked to the scarecrow used to spawn it and will never stray far! It has a chance to drop a feather when returning to the scarecrow after the scroll has been collected by another player.
Be wary when letting your little friend out during a storm, as lightning may strike and turn your crow into a phantom crow!
The scroll!
Put one of these into a lectern and you can store three lines of text and one item slot of storage. It is the perfect way to add long-distance trade between players and encourages new server economies to emerge!
The scarecrow!
A vital item to spawn in your own feathered friend, just light the scarecrow using a flint and steel and watch your crow appear! But be careful, when breaking a scarecrow all crows spawned from it will disappear. The crow is forced to stay within a certain radius of the scarecrow it is connected to so never worry about loosing a crow!
The feathered fan!
Flap this a few times using right click whilst on fire and you can save yourself from burning in dangerous situations. A must have for any nether explorer as it is both efficient and stylish!
This mod requires Geckolib to function and was made using Mcreator. Any feedback is greatly appreciated and will be responded to asap!
Note: When in creative mode and playing multiplayer do not get the scroll from the creative inventory as it will result in a client side crash. This bug will be fixed in the next update.
