📖 Background & Motivation

Mekanism is a phenomenal technology mod, but as players reach the endgame, building massive processing arrays becomes inevitable. Manually opening the GUI of dozens of machines to insert 8 Speed Upgrades and 8 Energy Upgrades into each one is an incredibly tedious and repetitive task.

Mekanism: Smart Upgrades is a Quality of Life (QoL) add-on designed to completely eliminate this hassle. By introducing smart, batch-operation mechanics and visual previews, it allows you to upgrade your entire factory setup in a single click.

🛑 Requirements & Compatibility

• Loader: NeoForge (1.21.1)
• Dependencies: Mekanism (Required).
• Soft Dependencies: Mekanism Extras (Fully supported, but not required).
• Safe to Install/Remove: This mod safely modifies interaction behaviors without altering your save files or adding new blocks/items. It can be added to or removed from existing worlds at any time.

💎 Core Features

1. Batch Upgrade Installation

• Simply hold any Mekanism Upgrade (Speed, Energy, Muffling, etc.), Sneak + Right-Click on a machine, and the mod will automatically distribute and install the upgrades to all connected, compatible machines.
• It intelligently respects the maximum upgrade limits of each machine, ensuring no items are wasted.

2. Batch Tier Upgrading (Factory Installers)

• Tired of upgrading machines to factories one by one? This mod also supports Tier Installers!
• Sneak + Right-Click with a Basic/Advanced/Elite/Ultimate Tier Installer to instantly upgrade an entire line of machines to the next tier.

3. Smart Visual Highlights

• When holding an upgrade or a tier installer, the mod renders a sleek, transparent bounding box around all machines that will be affected by the batch operation.
• Dynamic Colors: The highlight color automatically matches the item you are holding! (e.g., Red for Speed Upgrades, Green for Energy Upgrades, Cyan for Elite Tier Installers).

4. Seamless Add-on Compatibility

• Natively supports custom tier installers from add-ons like Mekanism Extras via soft dependency. You can batch-install Absolute or Supreme tier upgrades just as easily, and the highlight colors will dynamically match the exact tier colors defined by the add-on!

• 前置要求: 通用机械 (Mekanism) 核心模组。

3. 智能视觉高亮预览

• 当你手持插件或安装器时，模组会在所有即将受批量操作影响的机器外围，渲染一层极具科技感的透明高亮边框。
• 动态色彩自适应： 高亮框的颜色会智能匹配你手中的物品！例如：手持速度升级时显示红色，能量升级显示绿色，精英工厂安装器则显示天蓝色。

4. 附属模组无缝兼容

• 通过软依赖机制，完美兼容 《Mekanism Extras》 等附属模组。你可以像操作原版一样，轻松批量应用“绝对”或“至尊”级别的工厂安装器，并且高亮框与提示文字的颜色会自动读取并完美匹配附属模组中设定的等级色彩！
