Ponder: one step per layer. Every machine's Ponder scene now builds the structure one layer at a time, each layer a key frame of its own (click the timeline to jump from layer to layer): the layer is outlined and the text says "Layer 2 of 3" with how many of each block it takes ("15 Engine Casing, 2 Radiator Core...").
