What's new

MasuTab 2.1.0

Fixed

  • Mod is now fully inert in singleplayer and on non-MasuTab servers. Previously, pressing CTRL+TAB could still open the (empty) panel in singleplayer worlds or when connected to vanilla / non-MasuTab servers. The compact TAB strip could also briefly attempt to render in those contexts.

Changed

  • The vanilla player list is no longer overridden unless the server has confirmed MasuTab support via a sync packet -- vanilla TAB now works normally in singleplayer and on unsupported servers.
  • TAB / CTRL+TAB / toggle keybinds are silently swallowed (no chat noise, no panel open) until the server announces MasuTab.
  • The integrated server (singleplayer host + LAN host) no longer registers the MasuTab broadcaster, so LAN guests on a non-dedicated host also see the mod stay inert.

Notes

  • Backwards-compatible: existing dedicated MasuTab servers do not need to update.
  • Server-side change only affects integrated/LAN hosts; dedicated servers behave identically to 2.0.3.
