Magic Evolved is a mod which focuses on flashy visual effects and uniquely powerful spells. Unlike a lot of other magic mods, there is no resource farming required and you can start using it from the moment you join. To progress all you need to do is use your spells. The mod adds various elemental classes of magic like Fire, Water, Frost, Electricity, Earth, Wind, Wood, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
Magic Evolved strives to do several things:
- No resource grinding needed to start the mod or progress. This makes it usable in any modpack, even if you play in another dimension with no access to vanilla ores or items.
- Give the player a clear progression path. You don't have to wander around for hours looking for structures or build complex machinery in order to progress. Everything you need is in your magic menu.
- A balanced experience where you start off relatively weak but have a very high power ceiling. This wide range of power lets you have an enjoyable fight against almost every other mod, from vanilla level enemies to some of the most powerful bosses. It entirely depends on your level.
- Visibly show your development. Every spell you unlock will not only do more damage but also look bigger and more powerful than the previous. As a high level mage, you can wipe out entire cities with your spells!
