M-Essentials Mod – Beta Release

Overview:
M-Essentials is a versatile Minecraft mod designed to improve your gameplay with essential quality-of-life features and powerful commands. By separating server and client-side commands, it works seamlessly for both single-player and multiplayer servers, giving you control, convenience, and customization like never before.

MOTD and Rules:

M-Essentials allows server owners to fully customise the Message of the Day (MOTD) and server rules, giving players important information right when they join.

MOTD (/motd): Displays a custom welcome message that appears automatically when players join the server. The text can be edited in the configuration file to include server announcements, tips, or greetings.
Rules (/rules): Shows the server rules to ensure everyone knows the guidelines. Like the MOTD, this is fully configurable and can be updated without changing the mod itself.

This feature makes it easy to keep players informed, enforce server etiquette, and provide a friendly, organized introduction to your server.

Included Commands:
M-Essentials comes with a wide range of commands for moderation, convenience, and fun:

Player Utilities:

/afk – Let others know you're AFK.
/back – Teleport back to your previous location.
/coords or /pos – Get your X, Y, Z coordinates.
/heal [Username] – Heal yourself or another player.
/god [Username] – Become or grant invincibility.
/fly [Username] – Enable flight for yourself or another player.
/speed <1-10> [Username] – Adjust walking/flying speed.
/home / /sethome – Teleport to or set your home.
/tp, /tppos, /tphere – Flexible teleportation options.

Inventory and Equipment:

/ci / /clearinventory [Username] – Clear your or another player’s inventory.
/cleararmour [Username] – Remove your or another player’s armor.
/i / /give – Give yourself or other players items.
/hat – Set the block in hand as a hat.

Server and Player Management:

/gamemode <0-3> [Username] or /gm <0-3> [Username] – Change your or another player’s game mode.
/jail <Username> / /unjail <Username> – Manage player incarceration.
/mute <Username> – Mute disruptive players.
/nick <Nickname> / /setnick <Username> <Nickname> – Change your or another player’s username.
/prefix "<Prefix>" / /setprefix <Username> "<Prefix>" – Manage chat prefixes.
/namecolour <Colour> / /prefixcolour <Username> <Colour> – Customize colors.
/motd / /rules – Display server messages and rules.

Fun Commands:

/slap [Username] – Slap yourself or another player.
/joker <Username> – Make another player talk nonsense.
/thor – Summon lightning at your target location.
/nuke <Username> – Cause a localized explosion.
/suicide / /mkill <Username> – Self-destruct or eliminate a player.

Broadcasting and Communication:

/broadcast <Message> – Send a message to the whole server.
/pm <Username> <Message> – Send private messages.

Vanish and Misc:

/vanish [Username] – Become invisible or make another player invisible.
/time <Dawn|Noon|Dusk|Night> – Set the time of day.

Bug Fixes in Beta:

Ongoing investigation: flying speed sometimes not applying correctly.

Commands Planned for Later Beta:

/setwarp <Name> – Set a warp point.
/warp <Name> – Teleport to a warp.
/delwarp <Name> – Remove a warp.

/jail <Username> = Sends player to jail.
/joker <Username> = Makes the player talk nonsense.
/mkill <Username> = Kills that player.
/mute <Username> = Mutes that player.
/namecolour <Colour> = Player sets their username colour in chat.
/nuke <Username> = Causes an explosion at that players location.
/nick <Nickname> = Sets your username.
/pm <Username> <Message> = Send private message to another player.
/pos = Get location in X, Y, Z.
/prefix "<Prefix>" = Set your own prefix. [Default = Default, can be edited in config for first time joiners.]
/prefixcolour <Username> <Colour> = Set another players prefix colour.
/sethome = Sets your home.
/setjail = Sets that location as your servers jail.
/setnick <Username> <Nickname> = Set another players username.
/setprefix <Username> "<Prefix>" = Set another players prefix. [Default = Default, can be edited in config for first time joiners.]
/slap = Slap yourself.

/suicide = Kills the player.
/thor = Causes lightning to strike the ground you're looking at.
/time <Dawn, Noon, Dusk, Night> = Set time in world.
/tphere <Username> = Teleports the player to your location.
/tp <Username> = Teleport to that players location.
/tppos <X> <Y> <Z> = Teleport to that location.
/unjail <Username> = Releases the player from prison.
/motd = Shows the message of the day. Will automatically show upon joining. [CAN EDIT IN CONFIG]
/rules = Read the rules of the server. [CAN EDIT IN CONFIG]
/vanish = Makes your invisible.
/vanish <Username> = Makes the player invisible.
