First release of LuckPerms GUI & NameTags: a visual in-game manager for LuckPerms roles that also shows the role over the head, in the Tab and in chat — with animations.
✨ Added
- In-game admin GUI (/luckpermsgui gui or /lpgui, a configurable key, and a ⚙ Roles button in the inventory and Esc menu) to create, edit and delete LuckPerms groups: prefix, suffix, weight and name color.
- Guided editor with color palette and a live animated preview; plus a raw-tag (advanced) mode. Separate blocks for prefix and suffix, each with its own animation.
- Member management — set / add / remove a group for any player, online or offline (by name).
- Role display in chat, the Tab list (sorted by weight) and over the head, built from LuckPerms meta via vanilla scoreboard teams.
- Animations on the head and Tab for clients with the mod: rainbow, moving gradient, pulse and glow wave; plus hex colors and static gradients. Vanilla clients see a static version.
- Live sync with LuckPerms — role changes update the nametag instantly, no relog.
- Multilingual — English and Spanish (follows the client's language).
- OP-gated GUI with server-side re-validation of every action.
📦 Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.20.1, Minecraft Forge 47+.
- Requires LuckPerms (Forge) 5.4+ on the server.
- Server-side; install on the client too to see the animations (client does not need LuckPerms).
