This mod is a Minecraft Forge 1.16.5 addon to Mevans' The Lord of the Rings Mod: Renewed mod. The mod is currently in active development by a community-driven team with the goal of extending the features of Mevans' mod. We plan to port most of the features from LOTR: Legacy into renewed along with adding custom features and content of our own. We hope this mod will provide intermediate content while we await for Mevans to continue development of renewed. Once he returns, we will shift focus on adding new and unique content to extend his mod.
All textures, builds, models, speechlines and other content are made from scratch, but heavily inspired by Mevans and his mod. Credits must be given to Mevans for his ideas and concepts in LOTR: Legacy.
NOTE: This mod currently has no plans to update to a future version or be a standalone mod, so please do not ask. Because we are using Mevans' ideas, we want our mod to require his mod as a dependancy. For those interested in a unique standalone LotR mod in a newer version of Minecraft, you can check out the Middle-earth mod which aims to do just that!
You will need to install the latest version of The Lord of the Rings Mod: Renewed mod in order to run this mod.

Current Features:
- Most structures from the Shire including taverns, hobbit holes/houses, Windmills and Farms have been ported and improved. We even have an original structure, the Hobbit Picnic blanket.
- NPC Trading has been implemented with Hobbit Bartenders, Hobbit Farmers and Oddment Collectors having been ported
- NPCs for the Ranger of the North faction
- Most items/blocks/weapons and armor have been ported
- Most ported items/blocks have new remastered textures
- Chestnut Trees have been ported and currently spawn in the Shire
- Fellowships and a LOTR Mod Settings Menu
- Some new blocks/items such as new furs, new drystones and new lanterns

Priority Features:
You can view the Google Spreadsheet for more details on planned features but some of our current priorities include:
- Adding custom structures to every biome which have structures in LOTR: Legacy
- Porting more NPCs
- Implementing hirable units, check out the LOTR: Companions mod for details.
