This Mod is currently in very early Alpha!

LocalChat: Enhanced aims to provide players with an immersive, configurable, and extendible system to limit the distance from which chat messages can be recieved!

Not getting enough distance on your messages? Worry not! The mod adds items such as the Radio and Loudspeaker, both of which extend your message distance in different ways!

The Radio lets players securely talk to one-another with Frequencies, and Server admins can choose how many frequencies there are available! Just hope someone isn't peering in...

The Loudspeaker ignores distance, allowing players to talk globally, like normal messages in Minecraft would be sent out, in case you don't want to talk to people only around you!

Now that's not all this mod can do- Addons can add further items to Minecraft that change how chat messages are displayed, and defining when their changes occur! Just to give an example, the Proxy item can be found in this mod!

The Proxy hides Players' names in chat messages, allowing for some unique "information-warfare". Of course, Server Admins still get the true, original message (if the mod is configured to log messages).

Currently, this mod is VERY MUCH EXPERIMENTAL, and very much in-development. Crafting recipes are missing, and this is currently standing as nothing more than a proof-of-concept. DO NOT USE IN SURVIVAL, unless you just don't want the custom items added by the mod. It'll still work perfectly fine without them!
