Description
alchemists have for the longest time, tried to create gold from lead.
but who knew all you really needed was a substantially larger quantity of iron!
adds an alchemical item called the lesser converter which allows for the restoration and transmutation of certain objects or materials from one to the other.
however is limited in capacity to only go to the extend of gold and other early and midgame materials. (diamond, emerald, netherite cannot be transmuted)
Features
- lesser converter (item)
- potentia fuel (fuel source that can only be obtained through restoration of already smelted items)
- Converter blade (craftable life steal and saturation on hit)
examples:
conversion:
- sand, stone, cobblestone dirt and grass between each other
- ice to water, water to ice (using bucket in crafting)
- turn copper into iron and iron back into copper
- iron into gold, gold into iron
- ender pearls into iron, iron into ender pearls
- unsmelting glass and getting potentia fuel and sand in return
uncrafting:
- uncraft amethyst blocks back into amethyst
- uncrafting 2 or 4 stick back into 1 or 2 planks and uncrafting 4 planks back into a log
- uncraft excess oak doors into planks or craft only a singular door from 2 planks instead of needing 6 planks
- uncraft buckets
- and more!
some items wont be uncraftable if or because they have durability as a feature which means uncrafting is not equivalent and thus wont be performed.
for now that means there's no uncrafting for shears, iron, gold, copper equipment or items like anvils.
when i add a feature to detect if the item is at 100% durability then it will be able to uncraft but that is for the future.
JEI is recommended for recipes
