Welcome to Lapis Enhancements!

Here's a breakdown of the changes:

- Lapis Armour:

  • Comparable to Iron Armour in overall Stats
  • Has -30 Durability in comparison to Iron
  • See later crafting special abilities

- Lapis Tools:

  • Refers to: Sword, Axe, Pickaxe, Shovel, Hoe
  • All tools have -1 Attack Damage and -0.1 Attack Speed in comparison to Iron Tools
  • All tools have -30 Durabilitiy in comparison to Iron
  • See later crafting special abilities

- Crafting Special Abilities:

  • When you craft an item from the Lapis set, it automatically gets a Level 1 random enchantment!
  • This is categorized, so Helmet crafts get Helmet enchantments, Pickaxe crafts get Pickaxe enchantments, etc.
  • Cannot recieve "treasure" enchantments, just the way that enchanting from an Enchanting Table works
  • These tools/armour cannot be combined in an Anvil, in order to balance it out, nor can they be used in a Grindstone to farm the XP points off of them. You CAN of course still rename the set in an Anvil!
  • When you place one of these Lapis sets into the Enchanting Table in place of Lapis Lazuli, you have a 50% chance that the enchantment on the Lapis tool is the high-level Level 30 enchantment that you randomly recieve on your tool!
    • For example, place in your crafted Lapis Sword that got Sharpness I on it when crafting; placing this in the Lapis Lazuli slot on the Enchanting Table, and then placing in any gear of that same type (for this example, a Golden Sword), and you have a 90% increased chance that your Level 30 enchantment option is Sharpness V!

Make sure to see the images in the Images tab for a thorough preview!

Unfortunately, I had a VERY difficult time getting the Enchanting Table to accept my newly added Lapis set(s) in the Lapis slot. Therefore, I had to manually rebuild the Enchanting Table to function and look the same as Vanilla - or as close as possible! There should be no functional difference between this and the Vanilla Enchanting Table, however, this likely means that it may not be friendly with other mods that may affect the behaviour/GUI of the Enchanting Table.
