Version 1.0.5 updates Kronentroll's Graves to Minecraft 26.3 and improves the JSON5 configuration system.

Configuration Improvements

  • Replaced description fields with real JSON5 comments
  • Added clearly organized configuration sections
  • Added comments for important values, limits and performance considerations
  • Added automatic migration from Config Schema 3 to Schema 4
  • Existing functional configuration values are preserved
  • Added automatic configuration backups before migration
  • Added a separate commented example configuration
  • The active JSON5 configuration is no longer rewritten during an ordinary successful startup
  • Invalid configuration syntax no longer causes the existing file to be overwritten
  • Legacy JSON configuration files are imported only when no JSON5 configuration exists
  • Imported legacy JSON files are archived automatically
  • Player language data remains separate and is not modified

Updating from 1.0.4

  1. Stop the server.
  2. Back up the world and configuration directory.
  3. Remove the previous Kronentroll's Graves JAR.
  4. Install version 1.0.5 and the matching Fabric API version.
  5. Start the server.
  6. Review the migrated kronentrollsgraves.json5 file.

No manual world-data migration is required.
