This is a psychological horror mod created by one person. This is what you'll see when you log into the game.
In the upper left corner, you'll see your sanity stats. Initially, you'll be at 100%, but they can drop a little bit, and every day they'll drop, and your world will get worse. There will be strange sounds, and there may be a lot of strange things, including bugs. The mod is in full development.
Kitty is a psychological horror mod about a world that slowly stops feeling like Minecraft.
At first it is quiet. A sound behind you. A message that feels a little too personal. A shadow standing where nothing should be standing. Then the world starts changing around you: strange rooms appear in the distance, the weather lies, your inventory fills with things you never picked up, and something keeps learning your name.
The mod is built around sanity. The lower your sanity gets, the more aggressive the world becomes. Events are not just simple chat messages or random jumpscares; they can use your current biome, dimension, held item, nearby mobs, and player name to make encounters feel more personal. Sometimes it is subtle. Sometimes it is not.

- New hostile and hallucination-style entities such as Watchers, Crawlers, Reflections, Shadows, Priests, Effigies, and the Kitty itself
- Cursed items and books that can appear in your inventory
- Custom blocks, particles, effects, items, sounds, and dimensions
- Events that become much more dangerous and overwhelming as sanity collapses
This is not meant to be a small decoration mod. Kitty is meant to make survival feel unsafe even when nothing is attacking you. The world watches, waits, and occasionally reminds you that you are not alone.

- Do not use creative/spectator mode if you want the full experience
- If you already launched the mod before, check the generated config file so the event timing matches the current version
The mod is designed as horror, but it avoids real-world shock content. It focuses on atmosphere, unease, hallucinations, hostile entities, strange world changes, and Minecraft-safe scares.
