its clear that souls in minecraft hold supernatural power, now if only you could harness that power.
and even better, what if you could harness the power of your own soul and make it stronger.
protect yourself from harm, grant yourself great strength, shoot blasts of energy, levitate and fly in the air, run as fast as the wind, explode your enemies, restore your hunger through meditation alone,
and even eventually cheat death itself on occasion.
great things await u, and all you need to do is absorb magic from stuff, swallow an orb and such, sure they may be a bit pricey but that's about it.
how to unlock powers:
to awaken your spiritual powers, you have two possible options.
1. find the spiritual channelling enchantment, if its on an object then right click that object the enchantment will be absorbed while all the others stay if the item has any other enchantments.
of you buy or find the book then you'll need to enchant an object with it first in order to absorb the magic. i know its weird but the book seems to be able to stop you from absorbing the energies.
transfer it to a weaker medium via an anvil and then you'll be able to absorb it.
or its just that im weak.
or
2. craft a tablet of spiritual awakening. which costs a not smooth stone slab, a of glow squid ink sac, 1 nether ward, 1 lapis lazuli, and 1 glowstone. the recipe is shapeless so it doesnt matter how u put it in.
once u click the tablet to unlock spiritual channelling. i dont know why this grants power but it may have something to do with the nether ward since it grows from deceased souls.. so you could be gaining their memories or something.
the next stage that improves ur powers is spiritual ascension.
current recipe:
put a water bottle, ghast tear, blaze powder, gold bar, emerald, nether wart, lapis lazuli, glowstone and soul sand in the crafting grid in any order u want.
the resulting item needs to be smelted in a furnace and u then just need to eat that to unlock spiritual ascension
there is a hidden secret way to unlock spiritual powers and ascend directly to spiritual ascenion aswell but it has a temporary consequence that may cost u ur life.
but i mean, u get to keep the powers so if u arent playing in hardcore then it doesnt matter that much.

in order to become stronger, you will need to consume items once, you will then gain permanent powers when you gain the advancements that remain even after death.
in order to get rid of these powers, u just need to revoke the advancements. in the future there will be a way to either force someone to go a level lower and or remove powers themselves or temporarily seal it in an item or something.
spiritual channelling will grant access to level 0-1 abilities.
spiritual ascension will grant access to level to level 2 and below abilities.
[Current powers]:
unawakened
- meditation lvl 0 & 1: bonus effects like saturation but makes u unable to do stuff for a bit and has a medium cooldown. [the only ability u can perform without needing to unlock powers]
spiritual awakening lvl 0-1
- zerosnap lvl 0: fast, deals 0 damage but gives knockback and no cooldown also only shoots when u release the button not if u press it meaning u can hold it before firing (z as standard keybind)
- spirit snap lvl 1: deals low damage and knockback no cooldown only shoots when u release the button (x)
- meditation lvl 0-1 : bonus effects but makes u unable to do stuff for a bit, improved effects but a longer cooldown.
- reinforcement burst lvl 1 & 2: boosts the user with strength, resistance, absorption, jump and speed for like 1 second by 1. (g)
but a 2 second cooldown also created a momentary aura.
improved effects with the same cooldown, when user spiritually ascends with no extra cost.. it just is better.
spirit sprint lvl [1 & 2]:
if the user presses l-ctrl when running and keeps running then they gain a trail and a speed boost, the speed becomes faster as u ascend up till a certain point.
if u run by double tapping w then you wont activate this feature but if u then still press l-ctrl then the ability will activate and maintain itself for as long as u run.
permanent vitality [lvl 1 passive]:
passive effect where user's max health increases by 2 hearts, will also apply when u obtain spiritual channelling.
if u lose the effect SOMEHOW then just take any form of damage and the effect will reapply the same applies when respawning.
[spiritual ascenion]:
- spiritual walking lvl 2: by pressing and holding the v as the base keybind, you will be able to levitate in the air and walk around as if u had a surface below u. when you let go of the button it will immediately
cancel the levitation and make u fall.. it can also be used to stop urself from falling and can safe u from fall damage.
- spirit bullet lvl 2: deals medium damage and has a relatively short cooldown only shoots when u release the button
- Spirit blast lvl 2: deals high damage and has a medium duration cooldown and is fired immediately when pressed, most techniques are unavailable after releasing it duo to a universal cooldown system.
aura protection [lvl 2 passive]:
the user will gain a spiritual shield [absorption] that thanks hits for them allowing them to lessen or straight up mitigate damage.
this ability will automatically activate when they are hit, within this time frame they will be protected however they are unable to regenerate the shield during this alloted time and if the shield is fully broken within this period then they will be capable of being hurt. after a while the cooldown will end and a newly recharged shield will activate the moment they are hurt again.

future plans:
more bonuses/abilities that scale with level.
spiritual transcendence aka level 3.
divine awakening aka level 4
and divine transcendence aka level 5.
these new ranks will grant even more powers reaching op status, and previous abilities will improve and or refine to be cheaper.
also will add more powers for the lower ranks in general that can be unlocked by consuming specific items in the same was as the tablet of learning but without ranking up.
