| Structures

 

When we implemented the structure for obtaining abilities in Survival mode, we wanted to make it simple to observe how players interacted and, in the future, completely improve and redesign it.

 

./The current structure has been replaced with a new one.
./Loot from chests has been improved.
./A variant has been added to the structure.

 

| Abilities

Abilities are essential to the mod; without them, it wouldn't exist. We know that some are more popular than others, that some are stronger and others weaker, so we've done a major rebalancing to ensure they're all balanced, without losing fun or playability.

 

In addition, we've added a new area-based tactical ability: Slow Aura.

When activated, all players in an area near the user will be slowed, affecting their movement, fall, damage, and mining speed for a few seconds.

 

Finally, in version 2.0, we've implemented on-screen warnings for area-of-effect abilities.
When an enemy is affected by one of these abilities, they'll see a prompt indicating they are under the effect of an enemy ability. This message disappears when the effect ends. This prevents confusion, especially in combat where sounds can go unnoticed.

These warnings are present on all area-of-effect abilities, including the new Slow Aura.
