This mod may conflict with I18nUpdateMod - Minecraft Mods - CurseForge, as the installed language file changes every launch so that the hash also changes every launch. Remember to exclude such file in client config.
Updated on 20230726. You are recommended to remove config files before update the mods.
Now multi-thread calculation is enabled and the hash calculation will not affect mod loading and game play. The mod will also check file modification every 10 seconds and re-calculate the hash if modifications are found.
1. What is JarsAuth?
JarsAuth is a Minecraft mod to check whether the mod-pack is modified from the original build.
2. How it works?
JarsAuth will check all files in the configured folders and calculate their hash values, which are used to generate the hash code of the whole client. Then this hash code will be used to authenticate the connection.
3. How to use?
- Plan your mod-pack and add all the mods you need to the 'mods' folder.
- After the preparation, run both client and server and wait until the config files are generated.
- Go to client config \.minecraft\config\jarsauth-client.toml (Forge) or \.minecraft\config\jarsauth-client.txt (Fabric), you can change or add any folders in '\.minecraft', which will be checked by JarsAuth.
- Restart the client and then you can create a new singleplayer world, where you can run the command "/jarsauth gethash" to get the hash code and it will be automatically copied to clipboard.
- Paste the code in the server config (in "server"\"world"\serverconfig\jarsauth-server.toml (Forge) or "server"\config\jarsauth-server.txt (Fabric)).
- Wait for a while and drink a cup of java, and you will be able to log into the server after forge puts the change in effect automatically.
- Or, you will be able to log into the fabric server as soon as the config file is saved .
- If the config cannot be reloaded for forge, please open and save the file again with system built-in Notepad.
