Description
It Was My Mistake adds a terrifying entity known as “Stop” that stalks the player and grows stronger as time passes. Looking back at its glare will cause it to chase and attack, including a jumpscare encounter.
Defeating Stop allows you to craft special accessories—Talisman → Ring → Artifact → Relic—each one reducing the chance of the entity spawning when you kill mobs. Higher tiers provide stronger protection.
The final Relic can be crafted into a powerful sword. If this sword is used to kill Stop, the entity will stop spawning entirely. A separate craftable item can be used to re-enable its spawning if desired.
This mod focuses on slow, tense horror with progression-based rewards rather than constant jumpscares.
