Iron's Spells: Light Pollution 1.7.4 (Forge 1.20.1)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
1.7.4
- Schwarzschild Lens now uses a finite gas-like accretion disk with thickness, density contrast, flow and brightness controls instead of a smooth calibration ring. Added independent LUT, depth clipping and grazing-angle safeguards.
- Radiant Collapse evaluates the supplied iterative field directly in its world-anchored plane. The visual field and server damage shell are separate.
- Redshift Abyss restores the source material noise, accretion transport, camera-start integration, subpixel sampling and eight-level bloom chain. Each cast keeps isolated colour/depth history to reduce trails after camera, configuration or occlusion changes.
- Improved depth compositing, low-quality/particle fallbacks, LUT and shadow texture uploads, HDR targets and stencil-buffer handling across the black-hole spell family.
- Completed server gameplay and client visual configuration coverage, with defaults, ranges and bilingual TOML examples. Comment language changes preserve configured values and inline notes.
- Fixed history-buffer rebuilds during resize, stencil changes and multi-instance switching; added resource-reload, texture-upload and client bootstrap checks.
- Removed Photon Corridor (
photon_corridor), including its scroll, entity, renderer, path damage and preview commands. Other black-hole spells are unaffected.
Known limitations
- Redshift Abyss is adapted for Minecraft's camera, depth and floating-point pipeline; it is not advertised as strict pixel-for-pixel equivalence with the original Shadertoy Buffer A on every GPU and viewpoint.
- Some adapted third-party shader sources have attribution recorded but their redistribution terms remain unverified. Check
THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.mdbefore redistributing the binary.
