Iron Golem Armor System

Overview

This mod adds the ability to equip Iron Golems with protective armor, enhancing their combat capabilities and survivability.

How It Works

Accessing the Armor GUI

• Crouch + Right-Click (Shift + Right-Click) on any Iron Golem to open its armor interface
• The GUI will display an armor slot and your inventory

Equipping Armor

Place one of the following blocks into the armor slot to upgrade your Iron Golem:

• Iron Block - Basic armor upgrade
• Gold Block - Balanced armor with enhanced healing
• Diamond Block - Superior protection
• Netherite Block - Maximum armor and toughness
• Emerald Block - Premium stats

Benefits

Armor Protection

Each armor type provides different levels of protection:

• Armor Rating: Reduces incoming damage
• Armor Toughness: Provides additional protection against high-damage attacks

The stronger the block material, the better the protection your Iron Golem receives.

Enhanced Healing

Armored Iron Golems benefit from an increased healing rate multiplier:

• Heal faster when consuming iron ingots
• Higher tier materials provide better healing rates
• Keeps your golem in the fight longer

Visual Changes

• Your Iron Golem's texture will change to reflect its equipped armor
• Each armor type has a unique appearance
• Easy to identify armored golems at a glance

Armor Configuration

All armor values can be customized in the mod's configuration file:

• Armor points per material type
• Toughness values
• Healing rate multipliers

Removing Armor

• Open the armor GUI again
• Simply remove the block from the armor slot
• The golem will return to its default appearance and stats

Tips

• Equip your golems before sending them into combat
• Higher tier materials provide significantly better protection
• The armor persists even if you leave the area
• Consider the cost vs. benefit when choosing armor materials

Protect your protectors with proper armor!
