What's new
⚔️ Iourus Guilds — Changelog
This update brings several improvements to the Guild experience, including new Guild employees, visual upgrades, more quests, improved player guidance, and a major new integration with Iourus Progression.
✨ NEW FEATURES
👩 Abi — New Guild Secretary
The old Secretary Villager has been replaced by Abi, a new character who now serves as the Guild Secretary.
Abi gives the Guild a more recognizable identity instead of relying on a generic villager for one of its main functions.
She will act as one of the primary characters players interact with when using the Guild system.
📖 New Information System
A new information system has been added to make the Guild mechanics easier to understand.
Players can now access additional information explaining some of the Guild's main systems and features.
This should make it easier for new players to understand how the Guild works without needing external guides or prior knowledge of the mod.
🛒 Elena — New Guild Shop Employee
A new Guild employee has arrived!
Elena is now responsible for managing the Guild Shop.
Instead of having the shop feel like a simple menu or generic interaction, Elena gives the Guild Shop its own character and helps make the Guild feel more like an actual organization within the world.
Players can interact with Elena when they want to access the Guild Shop and its available items.
🎴 Improved Guild Card
The Guild Card has received a visual redesign.
Its appearance has been improved to better fit the identity and medieval fantasy style of Iourus Guilds.
The card should now feel more like an official adventurer credential rather than a simple functional item.
📋 Improved Quest Board
The Quest Board has received a visual upgrade.
Its appearance has been improved to make it more recognizable and better integrated with the medieval fantasy aesthetic of the Guild.
The Quest Board continues to serve as the main location for obtaining Guild quests.
⚔️ MORE QUESTS
A large number of new quests have been added across the different Guild ranks.
The quest pools are now significantly larger, providing more variety when accepting Guild contracts.
As players advance through the Guild ranks, quests gradually become more demanding and involve more dangerous enemies, larger objectives, and more valuable resources.
The expanded quest pools help reduce repetition and make progression through the Guild ranks feel more varied.
🗡️ NEW IOURUS PROGRESSION INTEGRATION
The Hunting Quest system has received a major improvement thanks to the new version of Iourus Progression.
Iourus Guilds can now dynamically detect mobs registered in the Iourus Progression level system.
This means that mobs configured to use Progression's level system can automatically become valid targets for Guild Hunting Quests.
Guilds no longer needs every possible hunting mob to be manually added to its quest configuration.
Instead, the system can obtain the available leveled mobs directly from Iourus Progression and select appropriate targets when generating Hunting Quests.
This makes the integration between both mods much more flexible.
Modpack creators can configure additional mobs through Iourus Progression, and Guilds can automatically incorporate those mobs into its Hunting Quest system.
Hunting Quests can also use different level ranges depending on the Guild rank, allowing higher-ranked adventurers to receive contracts involving increasingly powerful creatures.
📜 NEW QUEST PAPER TEXTURES
Quest papers have received new textures.
The updated appearance helps distinguish Guild contracts visually and makes quest items feel more consistent with the rest of the Guild's medieval fantasy design.
