Description

Combat mod That spices up combat while adding new weapons suited for it in the meantime.

While trying to keep it Minecraft style.

 While also trying not to be too aesthetic and almost purely combat.

Most of the versions are beta right now, so you'd have to check on the mod, and update it manually.

(Mod updates wont be notified if its beta)

1.16.5 and 1.18.2 is supported.

Why wont I go higher?

This mod is for people with low end computers,

like mine. 

 

----

 

 

Hold sprint and hold C to slide, cancels fall damage and no resistance is applied.

 If the player slides into a enemy, it will ram the enemy, doing damage and stun.

Sliding

 

Press V to dash, quick and instant, can negate damage.

 

Dash

 

Parry (only for the weapons in my mod). Press R to parry, delayed by 2 ticks. Upon successful parry, the player swings main hand stunning the enemy (with potion effects and vector manipulation).

Generally speaking the player will negate the incoming damage on hit, but only in a short timespace, the player also receives a slight speed boost. Player can now kick parried enemies, kicking does significant damage. 

 

Mobs targeting the player, will be buffed and once enemies targeting the player are a certain health they will be grounded (depending if they still target the player or regen).

Upon right-clicking grounded enemies, the player will finish them (healing the player certain health, also proving useful in team fights and exploitible).

 

Monster entities receive extra perks, they now can summon explosions Infront of themselves, and parry the player,

the only reason monster entities can summon explosions Infront of themselves is due to lack of undead and monstrous ability ideas,

sometimes those explosions launch the player into the air as the player tries to soften the landing by sliding midair or dashing

(yes you can slide midair).

Conquerers Haki!?!?

It isnt...kinda.. BUT now there is a new ability which the player

can spawn in the world, with a 30%, to have this ability (can be given with the command /givegift), which can be activated with 'G'

If the player is gifted this upon spawning in the world, the player wont be notified, meaning the player would have to check themselves.

Crazy name, but with all jokes aside this weapon is also cursed, a weapon being cursed means it has access to abilities

and such is true with a Ominous Katana.

To use just slot it into the offhand and right click to sheath and unsheathe.

Shift right clicking with the sheathed weapon in offhand will perform a very funny attack,

launching enemies into the air.

In other words the player dashes forward

does a three slash attack, launching enemies.

This weapon can be attained through trading with: wandering traders, weapon smiths and librarians.

(fixed the chance for the player to spawn into the world with "conquerors haki" and now it doesnt give it to the player every time).

Yes, a scythe, what other better weapon could've been made?

This weapon is also cursed, like the ominous katana and upon right click it does an aoe attack

creating a circular slash around the player, summoning evoker fangs upon those who get hit.

The M1s can cause explosions on entities that get hit(items, arrows etc, included) which can help get out of team fights,

with 1 m1 in a middle of a horde all the enemies will explode, usually launching the player quite high.

This can be obtained from monster mobs with a 10% chance(can be changed)

Yu-Sai

Another Katana.

Uncraftable.
Cursed.

Broken.

With that clear and aside, this weapon has 4 abilities, and the sheathing and unsheathing system is just like the one that the ominous katana uses.

(Unsheathed Abilities):

Plentiful Wind,

Right click with the blade in main hand to strike all enemies around you, gathering charges which max at 3, and these charges can be used for other abilities.

Mediocre damage and stun.

The player receives buffs at max charge.

 

Sharp Wind,

Right click midair to dash quite far slicing everything in your path, higher damage than Plentiful Wind, but same mediocre stun, 

has a low cooldown.

 

(Sheathed Abilities):

[Note: for these abilities to work the player must have 1 charge or over]

Beatdown,

Shift right click with Yu-Sai sheathed in the player's offhand. Any enemy nearby the player will be teleported to where the player is looking,

then slashed two times, then jabbed, to cause an explosion, and during the beatdown

the player will have resistance and can move around, consumes one charge. (Broken, right?)

 

Smashdown,

Shift Right click midair with Yu-Sai sheathed in offhand. The player is propelled upwards, then moves forward midair in a zigzag fashion,

thereafter the player slams the ground, with air acting as spears on entities in a 30 block radius,

quickly jabbing them down then up and back down again, and this consumes 1 charge.

Low Frequency Blade

This weapon isn't cursed, but the different thing about this weapon is the fact that

the parry is replaced with a block, which can be activated with right click and held.

After activating block, there is a window of 9-ish ticks, where if the player is attacked, it will count as a parry.

This parry is different then the usual, and it damages enemies, with a touch of knockback.

This new type of parry exclusive to the Low Frequency Blade can still be used just like a regular parry,

the player can still slide, ram or dash into enemies with the parry, but with a different outcome.

Monster mobs can now drop meat and souls.

 

Meat has above average saturation upon consuption.

 

Soul can be right clicked to give various effects, which can stack.

Which could be helpful if the player is in a pinch, or to just cheese a boss.

Hex Grapple a new tool which can also be offhanded.

This tool can grapple air, and it doesn't need to grapple blocks, though it can,

but it cant latch on mobs, and should'nt be spammed.

 Activated with R.

Meleeing with this weapon does a double slashing attack which is in a circle around the player, thought the damage mainly applies in thedirection the player is looking, after the main slash a delayed phanthom slash comes after, then launching the enemies into the air. Quick swapping the Hunk of Iron after attacking lowers the cooldown.
