Description
Infestation Potion Backport brings the new Infested potion effect from Minecraft 1.21 into older versions of the game.
This mod allows players to brew, obtain, and use the Infestation potion exactly as it works in modern versions, making it possible to enjoy the new mechanic without updating their entire modpack or server.
Features
- Adds the Infestation potion and its related status effect to older Minecraft versions.
- Fully Client–Server compatible. servers can add the mod to their mods folder and it'll work but it's recommended for the client to have it too it'll still be usable but there won't be a name to the potion.
- Works as of now alongside all mods without conflicts.
How It Affects Gameplay
- Players can interact with the Infested effect the same way they would in 1.21.
- Allows modpack creators to modernize gameplay mechanics while keeping the old-version experience.
