Requirements
- All versions: Cloth Config
- Fabric: Fabric Loader + Fabric API (Mod Menu recommended for the config button)
- Java: 25 (MC 26.2) / 21 (MC 1.21.1) / 17 (MC 1.20.1)
New
- Only blocks with an inventory or menu get a tab. Modded blocks that have a block entity but nothing to open — Tech Reborn cables, Create belts, cogwheels, waterwheels, display boards, and the like — no longer show up, and neither do vanilla ones such as sculk catalysts, trial spawners or vaults. The check looks at the real block in the world, so it needs no per-mod lists. Blocks in the Force show config list always get a tab, and a new config toggle (on by default) restores the old behaviour if you want it.
- Tabs keep clear of a screen's own side panels (Backpacked and similar). When a screen draws buttons beside the container, the tab column moves out past them instead of overlapping. Rows in the horizontal layout do the same above and below.
- Per-screen exclusion. A new config list, Do not show tabs on these screens, takes class names with
*wildcards — for examplecom.mrcrayfish.backpacked.*hides the tabs on every Backpacked screen.
Fixed
- Chests with item frames sometimes showed a neighbouring chest's framed item, or a blank icon when the frame was empty. Each chest now only ever shows the frame mounted on it, and an empty frame falls back to the chest icon.
