Idlecraft

Idlecraft is a Fabric mod that transforms Minecraft into an idle progression game. Earn points through advancements, unlock skill tree nodes, and gradually access vanilla mechanics that are locked at the start.

Features

- Skill Tree— A large pan/zoom canvas (10000×10000) with three branches: Wood, Stone, and Tech.
- Hold-to-Upgrade — Press and hold LMB on a node for 1 second to unlock it, with visual feedback (shake, fill, bloom, flash).
- Advancement Points — Earn +1 point per normal advancement, +5 per challenge. Recipes and root advancements are filtered out.
- Persistent Storage — All progress is saved server-side and synced to the client on join.
- Condition System — Some nodes require specific actions (e.g., collect 5 sticks). Masked as `???` until conditions are met.
- Ctrl-Expand — Hold Ctrl while hovering a node to see detailed description and what it unlocks.

Gameplay Changes

- Without the Start node, all blocks break 3× slower.
- Blocks with hardness ≥ 1.5 (stone, wood, ores) cannot be broken by hand or non-tools.
- Sticks act as early-game tools: 1 stick = 1 wood block (consumed).
- Breaking hard blocks without a tool deals 1 damage every 0.5 seconds.

Controls

- K — Open Idlecraft menu
- WASD / LMB drag — Pan
- Shift — Fast pan (×3)
- Mouse wheel — Zoom (20–100%)
- Hold LMB on node — Unlock (1 sec)
- Ctrl — Expand tooltip

Commands

- /idlecraft points get — Check your points
- /idlecraft points add <amount> — Add points
- /idlecraft points set <amount> — Set points
- `/idlecraft reset — Reset all progress
