Horse Pouch

Horse Pouch allows you to store and restore your horse when you come to impassable terrain which is much more common in Minecraft than in reality.

So, Horse Pouch fixes horses so they are more useful.

 

How the Horse Pouch works...

After riding 1,000 blocks, you once again come to an ocean, a river, or a steep mountain.  You dismount and click your steed with your Horse Pouch to save it.

When you come to more suitable riding land again, click your Horse Pouch on the ground and the horse will be summoned there.

 

This makes steeds much more useful in minecraft!

Example

Here is an example of empty and full Horse Pouches.  Notice the full horse pouch has a dark silhouette.

 

Configuration

 

Owned: True/False (default true)

The person storing the steed must own the mount.

 

Saddled: True/False (default true) 

The steed must be saddled.

 

Versions

1.1 is horses only.

2.0 supports horses, donkeys, mules, llama, (and camels in later minecraft versions) as well as other modded steeds based on minecraft horses.

 

Notes:

 

I have no current plans to store other steeds or modded steeds that are not based on abstracthorses.

Because of the way they are hard-coded, there is no easy way to support them in minecraft 18 and older versions.
