Curse Maven Snippet
After nearly 3 months its finally here! that meaning I probably wont remember everything that went into this update as a lot has been fixed and patched and added little QOL bits and bobs. I have been working tirelessly and what seemed like endlessly on this project of the guidebook. I will be releasing a video a few days after releasing this update on how to use the book or a video showing off use of the book.
New:
Book of Shadows -
The Book of Shadows is the new and completely unique guidebook of Hexerei. This guidebook was completely built from the ground up to be able to interact with an in-world book that is placed upon the altar and used to open up in front of the player and the player is easily able to turn pages and bookmark pages and so on. There will be a full guide tutorial on how to use the book as well as a full video demonstrating in a fancy way. These books can be dyed upon crafting which will dye the cover and then can be dyed again to dye the corners of the book. The corners can be again redyed to apply a secondary color on top of that color just like leather armor.
Reading Glasses -
If you are having trouble reading the book try grabbing some reading glasses! They act like a spyglass while right clicking but with a smaller zoom and no overlay as well as you can put them on your head and press the keybind Z to zoom.
Altar -
Changed from the book of shadows altar, this altar can now hold any item by right clicking the altar with the item in hand. These items can be removed by crouch right clicking with an empty hand. This goes for the book of shadows as well, though rendering differently on the altar it still is an item and you can pick up the book off of the altar, though you cannot turn its pages off of the altar. Yet.
Witch outfit -
These pieces can now be dyed and renamed for color changing effects. Also along with the dying they are now useful in terms that they give bonus effects. These effects are based off the number of pieces equip, if you have at least 2 of the 3 pieces equip you get the benefits of witches now ignore the player and you get 50% magic damage taken reduced, if you have all 3 pieces of the set you get an additional 25% magic damage dealt increased as well as 15% of all magic damage dealt is returned to the player as health.
Mixing Cauldron -
Now has a transfer recipe from JEI button
Drying Rack -
Fixed desyncing randomly happening
Dipper -
Fixed desyncing randomly happening
Crows -
Fixed them randomly freaking out and not returning to their perch properly
Honestly many more small bug fixes that I cant think of right now and just would like to get this out to everyone :)
