📃Version Details: We’ve identified one of the causes behind the unusually slow loading times and high resource usage in the modpacks.
🔧 What Changed?
- Removed an unnecessary process that copied Minecraft’s entire model table during startup and resource reloads.
- Prevented large modpacks from forcing thousands of models into memory earlier than necessary.
- Reduced avoidable CPU and RAM usage during initial loading.
- Improved model reload performance, including reloads triggered with
F3 + T. - Added timing information to the log so we can monitor this process more accurately.
- Preserved existing worlds, blocks, materials and placement behaviour.
- Added full recipe visibility for slab, stair, and pillar conversions in the vanilla recipe book, with optional JEI and EMI support for compatible modded materials.
