Craftsman Gunblade brings the gunblade from Chuzume's Craftsman Arms datapack to Forge 1.20.1 as a fully-featured hybrid weapon.

One item, two modes — press [F] (swap-hands key) to transform:

Melee mode — a heavy blade with vanilla combat, combo motions & slash effects (The four primitives and Weapons), Bullet Step dash (right-click), guard (sneak + right-click), and the Charge Smash: hold left-click to charge, then unleash rings of fire that consume your entire magazine — the more shells spent, the harder it hits.
Ranged mode — a genuine TACZ 12-gauge: aiming, recoil, revolver-style reload animation with a spinning cylinder, and a cylinder that turns with every shot.

Because both modes are the same item, everything carries over seamlessly: enchantments (enchanting table & anvil supported — even on the gun), custom names, ammo count, fire mode, and any custom NBT.
