Description
Guild & Commerce
Is an all-in-one protection and economy mod.
Protection
All land in your world will be protected. This prevents the placing and breaking of blocks in the world unless access is paid for. Players have the option of temporarily claiming land for a 12 hour duration to gain full access, or to band together as a guild and permanently buy the land under the ownership of the guild. Land that players have purchased for protection prevent blocks from being placed or broken, as well as denying non-monster entities from being damaged or interacted with. Your sheep farm is safe with us.
you can disable protection for unowned land in the config as well as the pricing and duration of temporary claims.
Land that is owned by guilds can then be sublet (rented) to either non-members for a fee, or guild members manually. Players can setup chunks in the world with very specific rules. These rules dictate what permitted players can and cannot do in that chunk (ie milking a cow is permitted, but attacking is denied). A tutorial on subletting can be found here: https://youtu.be/qRnwHDSIUI4

Guild
Guilds allow players to permanently purchase land, which is then protected from players outside the guild. Guilds can have unlimited land, but exceeding the per-player limit will subject the guild to taxes. Members of a guild may have various ranks and permissions can be managed to determine what certain ranks are allowed to do, all from in-game menus.

The above image shows two guilds' land with the red chunk hovered and displaying its tooltip.
Commerce (Economy)
The economy portion consists of a server-wide marketplace that players can use to buy, sell, and request items.

There are 3 market types: Local, Global, and Auction. The global market can be accessed by any player, anywhere. It has a modest 10% fee on the buy and sell transactions. Local markets have no fees, but are specific to the guild territory where the transactions take place. You can buy and sell on a local market while in any guild's territory. Anyone who wants to buy your item must be in the same territory to do so. Lastly, Auctions allow you to sell and item at a starting bid (plus a 30% fee). Players may out-bid each other to get the item, and after 3 (real-world) days the bidding ends.
