Description
Grimoire Rites aims to redesign enchanting from the ground up.
The old enchanting system and the enchanting UI have been completely scrapped and replaced with a ritual system that requires players to gather resources and build altars to perform rituals and obtain enchantments. This system takes more work, but it completely removes the randomness from the vanilla enchanting system.
This mod also requires the player to use a grimoire to perform the rituals. The grimoire contains all the knowledge required to perform these rituals, and the rituals are also supported by EMI/JEI.
To obtain the grimoire, throw 2 amethysts, 2 lapis, a book and a quill on top of an oak log, and light them on fire.
This mod is a part of a suite of mods that aim to replace and improve vanilla features that I personally take issue with!
