  • Ghost Peppers are a new type of crop that can be found growing sparsely in Soul Sand Valleys, adding another food option in the Nether

     

  • Has a blue, soulful color, similar to the souls in the valley
  • Ghost Peppers which can be planted on Soul Sand and Soul Soil. They grow twice as fast in the Nether. The plant is immune to fire, and yields 1-3 Ghost Peppers
  • Eating a Ghost Pepper fills 4 hunger points, 3 saturation, and gives the player the Spicy buff for 20 seconds
  • While under the effects of Spicy, all your melee attacks set mobs on fire. Acts like Fire Aspect 1, but as an status effect. Stacks with the Fire Aspect enchantment, upgrading it by one level when active (Fire Aspect 3)
  •  
  • Fire Aspect 3 ignites the mob with soul fire, dealing 2 damage per second instead of 1
  • 2 Ghost Peppers can be crafted together with 1 Raw Beef, 1 Beetroot, 1 Cocoa Beans, and 1 Bowl will craft Spicy Chili, which restores 8 hunger, 14 saturation, and gives the Spicy effect for 3 minutes
  • Piglins have a small chance to give 1 Ghost Pepper as a bartering trade
  • Ghost Peppers can be shot out of dispensers as a projectile affected by gravity. It will light a soul fire where it lands, and ignite mobs it hits with soul fire
