What's new

Wrench Mode — Built-in Universal Wrench (no tool needed)

Switch the Swiss Knife to Wrench mode and it becomes a universal wrench:

  • Locked Wrench Mode: right-click to rotate blocks around the clicked face normal (Create-style, works on machines from most mods); shift-right-click to dismantle
  • Outside locked mode: shift-right-click also dismantles; if dismantling is not applicable, it falls back to the current tool's function
  • Dismantled drops are collected straight into your inventory (dropped on the ground if full)

Drop Protection

Configurable in config/generaltools_blacklist.toml. When dismantling, if the total drop stacks (including container contents) reach the threshold, the dismantle is blocked with the message "Too many contents, cannot dismantle".

Pipez Compatibility

The Swiss Knife carries the forge:wrenches / forge:tools/wrench tags, so Pipez and similar mods recognize it as a wrench — shift-right-click can operate pipes (disconnect / extraction toggling).
