This is the Official release of Gemstones! Bugs are patched and a new wearable helmet joins the game - Crowns!

 

Crowns are somewhat expensive costing a helmet (of the type you want), 2 black diamonds, 1 silicon carbide, a diamond block, and two blocks of whichever type of crown you want.

These crowns each come with their own special effects, giving a buff when just the crown is worn, and a greater buff when the whole set is worn.
